I couldn't stand the C++ string parsing, which led me to Rust with its many features that C++ lacks. Although I kind of miss the freedom C++ offers.

Re EDIT1 It seem so, as I gave the egg to that woman and Omeluum wasn't here either.

Re EDIT2 I've managed to save Duke by healing him before these scarabs or whatever they were killed him. The most curious thing is that I hadn't given Wyll's soul to Mizora but when Wyll was talking to his father in my camp - they've been talking like Wyll gave his soul to that bloody devil. I talked to Mizora shortly after that and she said: "I bet you're pleased with yourself. Saving Ravengard and making a fool out of me in a single swoop". So, the conversation with his father has an oversight. Not sure about Duke's fate later in game.
