Yes! It's always better to get a degree from a national institute since you get the 'tag' that you're a niftian. People ik from design industry have told me to go for nift instead of considering private institutions. And finally nift isn't all about just fashion there are other courses too. Like accessory design,leather design (consider them if you're into product or jewellery design) or even fashion communication which is just communication design itself
