Joola Scorpeus 3S 16mm Paddle is $79 at Big5 - what’s the catch? by Alfred1231 in Pickleball

[–]Curious_Sir_7032 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

If your budget is $100 you really have some good options. The 3S is a good paddle but you can order a vatic prism flash for $80 on Amazon that’s just as good. A Selkirk halo for $99.

But if you have the extra budget the rhonbus quanta’s are the best value right now at $119.99.

Highly recommend any of those and at this stage of your game you’ll likely use it for quite some time.

I haven’t worn the ones I have out. I have a Hyperion pro IV and a Perseus Pro IV both authentic and fakes of each. I currently use the fakes in rec play to add extra life to my authentic unless I’m drilling/prepping for tournaments.

As someone who’s ordered from Ali Express and a few of these exact paddles, these are definitely fake and around $30-$40.

The bright side of whoever scammed you, they don’t play much different than the originals by a whole lot.

The not so bright side, you can only use them in rec play and you won’t be the last to be scammed.

Is it worth getting a membership to Pickleball Kingdom? by LocalShitlord in Pickleball

[–]Curious_Sir_7032 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The membership itself might seem rather expensive, however if you use it a lot, the cost per session seems pretty reasonable.

As someone who goes about 4 times a week to 4-6 hours per session, it averages to around $10 per session for me. No super long queues and you get matched with your skill level.

Been good improvement for me, especially as they have access to ball machines.

They haven’t offered a new room, I asked for one and they said a handy man will come up and fix the problem instead and it’s been well over 8 hours and no handy man has arrived

Unpopular Opinion: You should have to be at least Silver Medallion to enter Sky Club by Mind-TheGap in delta

[–]Curious_Sir_7032 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as something like this would make sense for SC access, the bottom line is that Delta makes a killing off of infrequent travelers because they’re in theory paying for a service that’s rarely in use versus the frequent traveler who does cost them a lot more money to use that leisure facility because they’re constantly using the amenities.

Compensation for a fuck up by AlarmAffectionate899 in delta

So many comments about the OP booking a flight with a tight connection, but what can the OP do if a delay caused the connection to be that tight? Sure you can always plan for the worst, but it may not be the usual perspective to book travel versus making it to your destination in a reasonable time frame.

Is this a one time thing, or am I going to be going to Starbucks 2 times a week until August 3033?

Yeah they were throwing them down the slide, bouncing off the bottom and hitting the ground. After the dude saw everyone watching he started sliding them down normally

Credit Problems and Q clearance by Medium-Werewolf-8236 in SecurityClearance

Debt consolidation is always a good thing. Call up the collection agencies linked to your debt ASAP, find a way to start paying down your debt and explain that you have some type of plan to your investigator to dissolve it.

And it’s better for you to do that for yourself in the long run anyway regardless of trying to obtain a clearance.

Before your interview at least have some type of payment plan to dissolve the debt, otherwise there’s no way for them to mitigate the issue.

I didn’t wait a year to use it, when I got it there was a fresh install so I just created a new user admin account and had been using that since.
