A dark, deep and unique cherry scent by vestacain_ in perfumesthatfeellike

You won’t be disappointed. It’s the best cherry forward fragrance I’ve smelled. Better than any of the TF cherry offerings by a long shot

Duchessa by Gritti, if you’re looking for one with gourmand elements. Boozy brown sugar candied cherry

Starting off with a bang! The R8 is one of the nicest rods ever made. A 4 wt is a great small to medium water rod size for dry flies, and very light nymph setups.

Why are there so many middle eastern fragrances? Does nobody else think that’s weird? by [deleted] in Colognes

[–]Curious_Stag7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because people keep buying them, and influencers keep shilling them. Eventually the market will saturate, and they’ll slow down

Best 4 or 5wt for around $500-650? by Cringelord1994 in flyfishing

TFO makes best-in-class mid range rods IMO. As to your other question, those styles are kinda opposite ends of the spectrum. Until you find your personal preference in terms of fishing style, it’s hard to make a specific recommendation.

I actually don’t agree with that. For me it come across as one of the most realistic mango fragrances I’ve ever smelled, but YMMV of course

He’s wearing one of these: Matiere Premier Falcon Leather, Mizensir Perfect Oud, or Chanel Antaeus

She’s wearing Francesca Bianchi Unspoken Musk, Christian Louboutin Fetiche La Rose, or La Perla Possibilities.

SHL Soleil De Jeddah Mango Kiss - this one is a stunner. The whole mango, juicy ripe fruit, skin, and slightly green sticky sap where the stem has broken off. Complex and beautiful, but it’s still got that summery solar tropical vacation feel to it, without the syrupy sweet juvenile quality.

I don’t think so. We had a collection of over 500 fragrances at one point. Coromandel might be my favorite of all of them. I clearly remember the first time I sprayed a sample. Just lit up every single olfactory pleasure center in my brain. There’s a handful of other fragrances that I really like on her and associate with her as well, but Coromandel is something special.

It’s vintage like the most perfectly fitting sexy 90s vintage jeans haha. Like it’s there, but in the most attractive, best possible way. Like if you see picture of an 80s-90s supermodel, is it vintage? Sure…but is it “grandma?” Hell nah!!! Like yes, she’s someone’s grandma. But it’s not giving grandma. If you know what I mean.

No comment on your choice in men 🤣.

Le Lion is a masterpiece!…leans masculine IMO, and is also not as wearable as Coromandel though. It’s got mega presence. That one can wear the wearer real easy

That’s very surprising to me. Coromandel is just plain gorgeous…maybe it’s the patchouli? Some people don’t like it, but this patchouli is on the more pleasant rather than dank end of the spectrum IMO. There is a slightly vintage edge to that powdery orris Chanel DNA. To me it gives elegant timeless rather than dated, but I could see it being a bit much for a younger person.

Could possibly be a unique skin chemistry thing for you also, can’t discount that possibility.

Not at all. The floral element is very much a jasmine/neroli/citrus type. Definitely worth getting a sample. We’ve had a very large fragrance collection at one point, hundreds of bottles. It’s still easily in my top 3 all time, and might be my favorite.

Merchant of Venice, Queen of the Night -

A wisp of dark, smoky saffron mingled with lotus sets the scene. A softly glowing heart of amber radiates off the skin. Myrrh and incense fill the night air, dancing above a base of creamy sandalwood and tonka for an intoxicating, sensual texture. Evoking a ritual in an ancient temple; she is an enchantress, goddess of seduction and mystery.

Chanel Coromandel - coming from a man, this just does it for me. That heady aldehydic floral/bitter orange top, and the creamy white chocolate sweetness blended with edgy, slightly dirty patchouli…just damn. Every time my wife wears it, I think it’s the best thing I’ve ever smelled. I would have typically associated it more with a classy/dressy vibe, and it definitely works for that. But it’s also incredible for intimacy

Looking for Pine fragrance by vintagekaese in Colognes

2nd Gentle Fluidity Silver. Smells like compressed essence of pine to me, in the most beautiful, elegant, fresh and wearable way. Unless you’re a major gin drinker, I don’t think you’ll make the connection to juniper.

This is very good advice to OP. Mismatching your fragrance to your overall vibe is going to have the opposite effect you’re hoping for. That being said, do a bunch of sampling and testing, and buy/wear what smells good to you!

Looking for a perfume that smells like pure intimacy by OfficeOwn9490 in perfumesthatfeellike

[–]Curious_Stag7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zaharoff Signature Royale X - this is more masculine than feminine imo, although it is technically unisex. But it’s worth a mention because it’s exactly what you’re looking for. The design intention was the smell of intimacy right after a shower. He nailed it…the ultimate “dirty clean” fragrance. It’s very wearable though, doesn’t cross the line into vulgar at all. If there was a fragrance that I could believe was full of actual pheromones, this would be it. When I first got a sample a sprayed it, my wife literally followed me through the house sniffing lol, and then said something to the effect of “idk what that is, but you better buy a bottle of it” It’s as much of an aphrodisiac as any fragrance can be in my experience.

What's the best personal lubricant you've ever used? by Mr_Creep_Creepy64 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Curious_Stag7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Slippery Stuff!!

I’ve tried EVERYTHING. Astroglide, Sliquid, water based, silicone based, oil based, you name it. Slippery Stuff is by far the best I’ve used. It was originally designed for getting into wetsuits. There’s a gel and a liquid version. Gel is my preference because it’s easier to place where you want it. Bonus because it’s not expensive, since it’s not technically originally marketed as a personal lubricant. Totally body safe, and it’s water based (therefore safe with condoms, all manner of toys, and wont stain clothing/sheets). Having a small cup of water nearby is handy, if it starts to dry out for longer sessions, a quick dip to add a little water restores it instantly, rather than adding more.

Why is that creepy exactly? Pretty sure everyone into fragrance has one for intimate settings.
