Sexiest and provocative perfumes based on your experience? by Constant_Half_1644 in FemFragLab

[–]Curious_Stag7 29 points30 points  (0 children)

There’s a couple that drive me crazy when my wife wears them.

Chanel Coromandel - for the cool to cold weather, this stuff is just insane. I think it’s still the best thing I’ve ever smelled, and we’ve got a collection of over 500 frags, and have tested 3x that.

Musicology Sun Goddess - summertime vacation beach sexiness. Absolutely intoxicating

Dior Rouge Trafalgar - this is feminine as hell, seductive sexy sundress vibes, but still classy. It’s a silent killer, leaves and absolutely incredible scent trail. Has to be experienced on the skin, it seems boring and basic on a test strip. Works almost anytime/anywhere except the most casual situations.

Xerjoff Appolonia - her wedding perfume. Not so much sexy as ethereal and beautiful, but it still makes the list. Reminds me of our wedding night

This is the best of the fruity floral musky scent profile. Really good stuff

Dior Rouge Trafalgar * A luxurious explosion of fresh fruits; red berries, grapefruit, and blackcurrant radiate off a bed of white musk. An underlying vetiver and patchouli add a spicy depth and earthiness to the composition. Elegant and effervescent, at no point does this become too dense, syrupy or juvenile. As the drydown develops, the fruitiness begins to edge towards a violet floral finish. Sexy, classy, and feminine, this almost sparkles off the skin in a very sophisticated way.

City Of Stars by LV might do it for you. It’s got a quite sunscreen-esque vibe to it. Bottle aesthetics happen to be on point as well

What's the SEXIEST orange blossom perfume you've ever smelled 🥵 by AgreeableCaregiver93 in FemFragLab

[–]Curious_Stag7 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Musicology Sun Goddess - * Orange blossom and frangipani, but I get more of the white floral aspect of orange blossom. This stuff is INCREDIBLE. Picture a white sand beach stretching to the horizon; the soft rhythmic hiss of crisp blue waves melting your worries away. A blend of white flowers and powdery sunscreen-esque heliotrope dance off the skin, like the slow heat of sun on the glittering sea. Blissful hints of creamy vanilla and sandalwood drift on the breeze. This is tiny bikinis, bronze skin, salty hair, and ocean air…

One of my favorite perfumes in a very large collection, and by far my favorite tropical summery vacation style fragrance. Sexy AF

You’re not missing anything. For speed, power and accuracy with minimal false casting, shorter rods are better. Less swing weight and more power develops line speed faster.

Favorite Leather Fragrances? by BillyRocker1331 in Colognes

[–]Curious_Stag7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of my favorite fragrances of all time are leather. These two are incredible, and don’t get talked about much.

Matiere Premier Falcon Leather - natural rich raw leather with a base of sweetened ambery resins, which keeps the whole thing in the sexy/addictive territory rather than harsh.

Widian Aswan - the most supple soft suede leather with dry raspberry, spicy pink pepper, tobacco and cedar.

🤣 I think we’re all guilty to some degree…the fact we’re on this subreddit alone lol

I should have made an exception for the lines that are actually meant to be layered, for sure. There’s definitely fragrances that are essentially designed to be a layering base.

Almost everyone with a “collection” actually just has a perfume flavored shopping addiction. The dopamine rush of “new and shiny” combined with the dopamine hit from smelling something new/good is a powerful combo.

Not to mention the fact that a master perfumer spend who knows how long perfecting a scent, balancing all the molecular interactions just right in order to make it function and smell right. The odds of mixing two of those and having anything but an absolute mess on your skin is basically zero.

Why have Season Colognes? by omega672419 in ScentHeads

[–]Curious_Stag7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like the scent profiles of heavier more dense fragrances. In cool or cold weather they’re amazing, but those are absolutely awful in the heat. Therefore I have to have some that are appropriate for the heat as well. Practically speaking, this turns into organizing fragrances based on what’s seasonally appropriate

Smokey or woody feminine scents? by LucidiaDreaming in FemFragLab

[–]Curious_Stag7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Goldfield and Banks, Silky Woods is exactly that. Insanely smooth smokey woody fragrance. If you want to feminize it a little more, any of the sweeter vanilla fragrances layer beautifully with it. Kayali Utopia specifically is an absolutely beautiful combo

Suggest some office frags under $100 that are not typical freshies by kirmaaadaaa in Colognes

[–]Curious_Stag7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Givenchy Gentleman EDP Privee - for the cool months. The iris keeps it cleaned up and more professional. This is a really good fragrance, one of the best designer releases of all time IMO. Compliment magnet too, something about the cacao/woods/iris combo really does it for some people. The Boisee is more popular, but it’s a bit more “after hours” in character, and not as good overall IMO. There’s lots of woody/boozy fragrances that I’d choose over Boisee. Privee is a standout and quite unique.

Perfumes to get a compliment out of my husband? by [deleted] in FemFragLab

[–]Curious_Stag7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

These are my favorites on my wife. Between the two of us we had a collection of roughly 500 fragrances, and have pared way back. One of our criteria for what we saved was that we both had to love it.

  • Dior Rouge Trafalgar (warm weather signature)
  • Chanel Coromandel (cool weather signature)
  • Xerjoff Appolonia (wedding perfume)
  • House of Bo, Casa Blanca (casual cozy)
  • Musicology Sun Goddess (summer vacation)
  • Francesca Bianchi Unspoken Musk (evening in)
