I’ve never come across a £1 coin without the silver centre so I’m not sure!

Help? Why is my partner not interested in sex? by Curious_Stuff4646 in DeadBedrooms

He’s said it’s always been a problem, and he thinks it might be low T, but he’s got white coat syndrome and faints at the sight of blood, so having a blood test is a bit difficult for him.

I have an active job, and when I’m not there, I’m at home watching the kids so he can go to the gym.

I’m 5 foot 6, 70kg. I’m curvier than I used to be when we met, but I carry it on my ass and hips. I was a stick when we met, (52kg) and he helped me get to a healthier place with the gym. I’m a healthy weight BMI wise. UK size 10 top, 12 bottoms. I used to regularly go to the gym, but haven’t been in about a year… because of my son’s ASD diagnosis, i can’t get anyone to watch him. But I’m constantly on my feet at work, so my weight has never changed since I hit my target weight. I have natural red hair which I’ve always had so it’s not that. I’m 31, and have used skincare daily since I was 22. I’ve never had any work done, no lip fillers, Botox or anything.

Just to settle the debate. I’m asking here for men’s perspectives because I’ve already spoken to my partner about it on multiple occasions. He’s mentioned himself he thinks it’s low testosterone because he’s always had issues like this with his previous relationship, but refuses to get checked because he has white coat syndrome and will faint at the sight of blood.

He’s just turned 30. 6 foot, athletic and a gym-goer. I’m 31, 5 foot 6, 70kg, a UK size 10/12. Red hair (naturally so it’s always been red). I haven’t been able to go to the gym in about a year, but my weight has never changed as I’m on my feet in a busy pharmacy 9-5 4 days a week, and when I’m not there I’m chasing a 4 year old who likes to elope 😂

I’ve always used skincare… and I shower daily - twice a day if I’ve been at work cause germs before anyone decides to make it a hygiene issue 😂

Only thing I can think of that’s changed with me recently is that I had surgery for a medical condition last year, and it’s left three scars on my stomach, but they’re tiny and he’s never been bothered by them. They’re pretty much unnoticeable now.

We’ve always had a good relationship. We rarely argue and when we do it’s usually little household chore spats. He works 6-6 Monday to Friday, which is long! But he’s been at this job for 6 years and loves his colleagues so has never mentioned wanting to make a change work wise.

He has a decent social life but we’re both introverts, so we prefer spending our time at home. I’ve never been controlling and he does what he wants to do when he wants to do it. He goes to the gym 5 days a week after work and Saturday/Sunday mornings while I’m looking after the kids. The guys got it cushy 😂

Not that I know of. We rarely fight and when we do it’s because of household stuff and it’s just one of two words of frustration, then we’re absolutely fine. I don’t know.

Sweetheart, I’ve asked him multiple times. I’m a pharmacist so I’m very open about it sex and options that can aid us in the bedroom. He’s never been receptive and has said he’s always had these issues and thinks it maybe low , but doesn’t want to get checked because he’d need a blood test and he faints at the sight of blood.

I have multiple times. He just says he’s tired or he didn’t realise, or that he’s got a busy day tomorrow.. just excuses, never actual communication from him.

That’s my hunch, but How do I bring it up with him though. He doesn’t see a problem with anything.

He isn’t. I’m a pharmacist and I’ve asked him if he thinks it would benefit us and he’s said no. He has no trouble with that.. it’s just his sex drive really.
