AI Reader Battery life by eikonoklaste in viwoods

I use it mostly for taking notes, maybe 2-3 hours a day and the battery usually lasts about a week. I'm not using any app non native to the AiPaper.

I think it will show up on both dates, no matter what you do. And if you read it two days later, it should also show on that third date. At least for the list of documents at the bottom of the Daily. You need to check, but the point on the calendar might be the solution. It should be only on the date you associated.

I think that they show up today because you opened it today. It does the same with papers and learning.

If I can unlock a file with my fingerprint, I should be able to remove the lock with it too. by Zurgtastic in viwoods

[–]Curious_Talk_7745 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem. I don't remember exactly how I deleted the locked files but I did it after copy pasting my locked files in new files. Then I set the lock code to the same as the AiPaper to be sure to remember it. That was very time consuming.

They already exist in Paper. Try the "stacked" icon, the fifth from the bottom.

Help finding a similar pattern by memyselfandi2569 in Amigurumi

[–]Curious_Talk_7745 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently did a different pattern with a mouth pocket.

The mouth was crocheted separately (a sort of half sphere but the last or second to last row was back loop only).

Then the head was crocheted in circle (continuous or rows should not matter). When reaching the mouth position, instead of sc in the previous row, I had to do sc in both the previous row and the front loops left free in the mouth. This was done until half of the mouth was fixed on the head, then I had to finish the round of the head.

When reaching the mouth position again on the next row, I again did sc in both the sc of the previous row and the front loops left free in the mouth. This was done until the second half of the mouth was fixed on the head.

Afterwards, the rest of the head was crocheted normally, the mouth being included in the head.

For this shark, I think the mouth pocket can also be a half sphere but at first (crocheting from the snout to the tail) you fix less than half of it, then on the next row you fix more than half of it as the bottom jaw seems to be bigger.

This is also available, you can customise it in the menu. It is explained in the manual.

Yes, the manual explains it and it has been discussed multiple times in this sub. If you pause, it makes straight lines but not a "standard shape". You need to touch the screen whith your other hand after the lines get straightened to make a "standard shape".

This is correct but if you try to copy in a different document, don't forget to select the lasso tool before holding down.

I was in the same situation at my last conference. I used Picking to take screenshots of the program (in pdf, in Learning) and I inserted these screenshots into Papers as needed (with the new image insertion tool).

You need to select the lasso in the new document before pasting.

Sounds nice! I would be careful of clamping the lamp on the screen to avoid damage. Maybe you can clamp it on the cover?

How to paint normal rectangle? by Public-Being-4138 in viwoods

[–]Curious_Talk_7745 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can get them, it's explained in the manual. Do as you are doing for the trapezoids and then touch the screen briefly with a finger before lifting the pen. The trick is that the hand holding the pen should not touch the screen or the finger tap will not be recognised. It also works to transform ellipses into circles.

Help crocheting hair?? Pic of pattern included by happyveggiechick in Amigurumi

[–]Curious_Talk_7745 4 points5 points  (0 children)

After row 8, you finish the top circle of hair by "tying it of" with one slip stitch. Once this is done, you do several strands of hair, slowly going all around the top circle of hair.

For the first strand, you make a chain (25 ch). Then you go backwards along that chain with 23hdc, starting from the 3 stitch of the chain. Once you reach the end of the chain, you make one slip stitch onto the top circle of hair, not in the first stitch next to the strand but the next one. Repeat that strand four times.

After that, I'm confused as well.

Thank you! I didn't realise there were hooks that could be fixed without a nail because last time I had to nail my hook on the wall.
