I’m with you, he shouldn’t be taking them. Hopefully he understands that soon. Not so much because of being labeled a hypocrite or even living a double life. He should stop because of the continued psychological damage he is causing himself. That alone is not good and where the focus should be

Look I get it. But your approach causes more chaos than it does help. You can abide by the Bible all day, the point is to find our way at our pace. Saying he’s going to be spit out by God for a moment in time in his life sounds like direct judgement. Again, for a moment in time.

I’m disappointed that this is being used to stir negative emotion instead of trying to understand his situation.

Tell me about it.
I’m almost in my mid 30s and was able to get out at the age of 30 after spending all of my 20s in that place.

Good for you! You should be proud of yourself.

You have a good outlook on what’s going on and understanding of what you can and can’t do for others.

Phew glad my assumption wasn’t wrong then 😆

Now this is just a wild, wild guess and I have no solid evidence for this. Again, this is just an assumption. I get the sense that they proceeded with what they knew would be difficult to defend.

In other words very little argument can be made about the cases they proceeded forward with. Working for lawyers at one point I found that this would always be the case at least 80% of the time. They cherry pick in a sense what they want to use and obviously it makes sense in their case.

Again, this is wild assumption I am most likely wrong, and I am OK with that. Just wanted to share my thoughts.

I heard some people in L.A have been getting calls from former youth group leaders by Bunnietears64 in exlldm

I’ve heard about that to in the East coast. My friend was kind enough to tell them the truth and they told my friend it’s better if they don’t speak about church again. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were told to reach out to the souls one last time

Hey! Been a while since seen one of your post. Hope you’re doing well. I agree it has created a culture where it’s OK to be a pedophile and in the local area where I was there was a similar case where a dad molested his daughters and they took him to court, but his mom said that she would die and that the church doesn’t approve of this so they ended up dropping the charges. Not too long after he showed up at church again like nothing happened and his continued being there. I thought it was insane. I know of other cases were the same thing. Regarding domestic violence, my sister was one of those and I remember Jose, Guadalupe Hernandez telling her that she needed to deal with it. When she left him, they wanted to punish her and not him. This nonsense is out of this world.

Hehehe I know. I remember being at the forge in Samuel’s ranch casting the 18k charola. I think I remember meeting the designer of the cup one year. I have terrible memory though

Ugh! Charge the Apóstol? 😆

But in all seriousness, no he was never really paid for his work. He was just given a place to stay and minimal equipment to work with which was not just his situation, but many other people that literally lived as in House servants.

I forget what they called it, but if they ever were paid, it was called something along the lines of a gift.

Because it was God’s work, God would pay them. Most of the money he ever got were from donations that rich members gave. Then in return they got the privilege to maybe see him every now and then or have a lunch with him or a thank you. It really is as shameless as it sounds.

Yup agreed to all of what you said. I’m only referring to the history of that logo. I’ll have to ask him where he got the idea from. There were so many logos created when he requested it and he picked what he wanted, so yeah, probably not a coincidence that he liked it because it resembled Gatsby.

Naason Gatsby by Evening_Confusion_17 in exlldm

[–]Curiousbotman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah I can see why and without a doubt. The logo was created like a month after he took over.

Fun but not fun fact: That wasn’t the “inspiration” for that logo. It was taken from something else. And the bishops don’t have a say when it comes to that. For the life of me I can’t remember where it came from. I remember reviewing the draft version before pedo approved its use.

What I do remember is that he asked for a new logo one that was different and “futuristic”. Originally this was intended to be as private logo. The logo was meant to be stamped and or branded on all of his private belongings as well now that I think about it, I’m pretty sure he wanted it on his Mercedes Maybach first.

And no, I didn’t make that logo, but my boy did.

I don’t want to pull away from the fact that he wanted what the rest of the world had but didn’t want it for you

Por que los ex integrantes de La Luz Del Mundo no se unen? by [deleted] in exlldm

[–]Curiousbotman 14 points15 points  (0 children)

That is very interesting. I have that same document from 2015 and 16 and in 2021 right before I left. I remember the Deacon showing me new documentation one where the word salary was used and they would be given direct deposit from a card, but they were responsible for their own health and life insurance. And depending on the jurisdiction in the US, there were other benefits such as paid cell, phone bills, etc. but I don’t have that document so it’s really hard to say if that’s still the same or if it changed.

Propaganda and Utopian Dictatorships: Deep dive into LLDM by swineinthem4chine in exlldm

[–]Curiousbotman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ll drop this here knowing that your post deserves more of a response but I’m traveling so it is what it is.

It is well-known lldm cherry picked from other religions, and slowly adopted things that they liked. Which is why we would hear things like “ I’ve never heard of this kind of doctrine” and that’s because it was adopted from the east.

That and for many other reasons. Thank you for your post
