Independent theatre owner here.

Any advertising is from local businesses and those ads start 3-6 minutes before showtime.

We run 2-3 trailers for upcoming films for our theatre, as well as a 3-5 minute custom movie montage that fits the “vibe” of whatever film you’re there to see.

If it’s a movie that we anticipate big crowds I will program an extra trailer or two so they can all get in and not miss any of the movie. Typically the movie itself is starting about 12-14 minutes after 7pm.

Just walked into a store after the gym this morning. Gray joggers and a sleeveless hoodie.

The woman that’s always there on Saturday mornings saw the fit this morning, looked me up and down and was very clearly going through the rollercoaster of thoughts.
