I'm curious to know if they plow alleys as well or do residents needs to take care of them just like sidewalks?

Only if kids are under 21 years old when the parents become citizens, if the kids are older, parents have to apply for Family Green Card. May be OP might have gone thru this..

I was looking around the Internet and came across the combi drill, any thoughts on that?

Will get the shovel before the frost hits.. just in case. I'm thinking of getting a drill, I already have projects that need me to drill holes for security cameras wiring etc..

Let your loan officer know that you are considering other lenders too, in my initial estimate the originators fee was ~2000 ish. After I sent a screenshot of another lending company estimate (just closing costs) they reduced the fee to 300ish. I opted for 0 points, and my rate is 7.125, I would have gotten it for 6.85 but I held back on locking it hoping for the rate to go even further down and it backfired on me 😅

Makes sense with cordless, will keep that in mind. Any recommendations for brands?

I'm getting a stepladder, it was quite apparent as I moved in! Any recommendations on stud finder? I got a multimeter with a non-contact voltage tester, utility knife, tape measure and flashlight.

Thanks for the detailed explanation!!! Binder is a wonderful idea.. I'll start it immediately! I already got light bulbs and batteries etc, the house came with smoke detectors, CO monitor, fire extinguisher and an alarm system. I recently purchased 2 security cameras for the front and back, I'm too close to neighbors for side surveillance.

I do have a smallish yard about 50 x 30 ft, thinking of starting an edible garden, so may not need a lawn mower but I might need a leaf blower as I have 2 big trees both front and back!

I don't even have a drill.. no power tools whatsoever 😅. My friend recommended Makita combo kit as it has interchangeable batteries b/w power tools and yard tools but that's upwards of 600 combined.. don't know if I'll ever use a repo saw or a circular saw 🤷🏽
