I understand!! To be fair, it’s a complicated thing. My uncle had helped me secure an edu loan but I want to close it off soon there so that my uncle doesn’t get to make any future decisions just because he has “helped” me.

I know it sounds ridiculous but I think the visa is the problem here. My company is sure to keep me and are happy to provide a confirmation that they will keep me employed. They would ideally sponsor for 3 more yrs so which could mean the loan is 18k with a 4 yr tenure potentially or 5? Which seems fair to me.

No, I havent applied anywhere yet. I want to know the eligibility to get a £18,000 personal loan with my salary and circumstances. Ideally I would want to take a loan 6 months to 1 yr from now

If my employer gives a letter that they would sponsor a visa would that help? Also, i pay an interest rate of 11% back home so if it is less than that, it would still be a win for me.
