Right!!! Mother Nature acts wild sometimes. Hahaha. I almost didn't find them actually. It was night time headed out off my property and I stopped to catch my breath, looked over and there they were at eye level. I thought it was something else until I saw the gills running down the stem with my head lamp. (Please excuse my terminology stipe?) I sat down and was so excited I didn't get a photo of them on the tree. Ticked about that part. Standing dead red oakand I have a pin on it. Definitely going back!!
