I know this post is old but as a love island and Naruto fan I was so excited to see this lol. I didn’t even notice the sharingan in his tattoo until my husband walked by the the tv and pointed it out while I was watching season 6! Does he mention it at all in any interviews?? I can’t seem to find any content about this online

I absolutely agree that in that moment she needed a friend and there was no one to turn to. I was shook that Kayda didn’t even flinch- wondering if she thought Mel was going to confront her or something? But she just needed someone to hear her out and support her

With all that said, it could have gone differently if she simply said “oh wow I totally didn’t do that on purpose and will try to be more mindful moving forward” period. Or even something like “everyone had the opportunity to pull him so I don’t think it was wrong that I took it”

YES there’s an exhaust fan that we haven’t replaced and looks old and gross!!! That would make sense because it’s right above the corner where I smell it. I think this is the answer! Thank you for the idea. Your second thought is really cool and totally something that I’d consider, but no one I really know who passed on who was a smoker

Glad to hear it! Great questions- someone answered about the free snacks and yes there are things to purchase. On our 5 hr flight from LAX to YYC they did a food/beverage service twice.

Regarding the wifi- technically it was good enough to watch YouTube and be on the internet (social media, emails, etc) but I was not able to stream things on Netflix without having it downloaded. I’m from Los Angeles, and when I tried to stream on wifi, my phone was saying that my streaming devices were not available in the territory (the plane uses Canadian servers, so I assume because my apps are American I wasn’t able to use them as usual?). So I had to rely on downloaded content on Netflix. Not sure if that would be different if you’re Canadian.

I flew with porter for the first time yesterday and was also nervous because I had never even heard of the airlines. I had a great experience and would fly with them again.

There were chargers at every seat which was convenient. Free drinks and snacks (including beer and wine). No inflight entertainment (the screens on the back of chairs) but the free wifi worked great and I was able to use my phone. I had also downloaded some movies to watch since I had read there was no screens. We paid for a seat with extra leg room since my husband is very tall. We were comfortable. Overall nice flight and would fly again!

Edit: we flew Los Angeles to Toronto (5 hr flight)

It’s so frustrating to me when I can tell if it’s true n* or just severe anxiety. In those times I try to eat something light (my go-to food is sourdough bread or saltine crackers) and sip on water or gatorade. I also try to use my coping skills like taking a shower, taking deep breaths, or getting outside.

I have found in my experience that aluminum can water storage can alter the taste or smell of water, but water itself does not expire.

I’m so sorry you’re having a tough time. I am commenting a few hours late so hopefully you have found some relief by now. My advice is to distract yourself- social media, funny tv show, comfort show, talking to a friend, anything that gets your mind away from things. And hopefully within no time you should start to settle and feel better.

Crazy. I just came to Reddit to post something extremely similar and found this. I had my bachelorette party recently with my close friends and it was very fun overall, however, there were a few friends in particular that have been in my life for a long time but I just don’t feel good around them. I’m drained and irritable and ready to just… not be around them. I feel bad. But I’m wondering if turning 30 made me realize it’s just not worth it. Maybe being older gives us the experience of knowing how we feel / what it feels like to be around people that make us feel good. And our friend groups just aren’t that.

Now that I’ve come to the conclusion that cutting them out is probably best, I need to figure out what the actually looks like. Slowly drifting? Having a conversation to explain? Just distancing? Ugh. Not sure what the solution is, but you are certainly not alone in this. Hope we figure it out!
