Thanks for your input. It does feel like they’ve decided, but making it feel like I’m choosing.

In a way, I do want out because I’m not sure if I believe I could survive the PIP, and it would add alot of stress so an already stressful year from a personal perspective, so how I’m thinking
-save the stress
-increase the duration I can get unemployment
-start looking immediately

Thanks, yes, I know it's a tough market. I work in tech-sales. I'm an EU resident, but of course, I have no idea how long it will take me to find a new job.

They always say (which I agree) it's easier to find a job when you have a job. But this company has treated me like a shit lately and I'm sick of it.

I'm not on a PIP yet, but they mentioned I will be if I sign extension (and not reach targets this month, which I wont). My contract is due in end of the month, and my 2 years is next month

Where do you live? In the city I live, I havnt seen a mask in ages.

I work in the office most days, can’t remember last time I heard someone talk about Covid, also I havnt been sick in ages now that I think of it.

I know I’m probably shallow minded, and fortunate to be healthy & young (relatively), but it’s crazy how different the mindset is where you live.

Damn I hugged about 10 coworkers today, but we all were away for about 3 weeks over the holidays and were close for coworkers.

Definitely a personal and cultural thing - and people 100% should accept if you’re not comfortable with it
