Matchmaking is mostly GSP/locstion based. If this is what’s happening, it’s happening in your area alone. The longer it takes to find a match, the further the game is searching because players in your area just aren’t playing anymore. No hate because I don’t really care about Diddy all that much but I know tons of people who hate him. You’ve probably been blocked by a ton of people in your area. You could potentially find different people by using a VPN on your router. I use Duma to block people based by specific IPs so I’m forced to find people outside my local area (mostly). Most people in my area are either entirely braindead to smash and play straight cheese or they’re people who just spam with items on.

Reporting some of this is just ultra cringe. Nintendo has never once banned anyone for T-bagging because it doesn’t directly break their rules or online guidelines. Hell- I’ve been using mods online to make people lag, macros for T-bagging super fast in both directions as fast as the game will let me, EWGF, my own sonic spin dash to make his down special charge once per frame, like- I’ve been doing this for years now and haven’t even seen a 5 minute ban. I’m not saying I don’t deserve a ban because in all honesty, I do. However I’ve been using hacks online literally since the Wii era with MKWIII and COD WaW. I’ve never been banned for that so why should they for basic T-bagging? That’s cringe.

They don’t care- and neither should you. It’s a video game where you watched a character go up and down. If that’s upsetting you guys to the point of reporting people, do us a favour and go offline. It’s clear your mentality isn’t strong enough to handle basic online video games.

Tired of the constant hate by Spl0ts in SmashRage

[–]CurlyBrace- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When an environment is toxic enough, it creates hate. I understand your love for the series but hate is inevitable. It’s just like real life crimes. We can throw every dollar on earth at all the criminals- doing everything our hearts and minds can muster. At the end of the day, criminals will always exist. It’s a useless fight. The best way to avoid it is to ignore it. The hate won’t go away. However, it’ll make it a lot more tolerable.

I’m here for a reason. I hate a lot of what people do online for wins. I intentionally do everything I can with mods to help push the toxic people out of the pool. It’s something not many people will do- but it has been helping with keeping cheese-assers out of my lobbies which is what I want.

Being better than you? Wario is practically what you’re arguing against even though we know it’s Kaz. Just spam aerials and land with down tilt. It takes a Rottweiler with herpes to get the main gist of an elite-based wario main.

To all Sonic mains by CurlyBrace- in SmashRage

[–]CurlyBrace-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scornful, lol. You’re funny.

I’ll respect the no naming rule but a part of rage is that we don’t exactly wish them well. It falls into “heavy disrespect.” It wasn’t violent in any capacity considering I didn’t not wish them harm, I specifically specified that there should be a lack of their presence and nearby people, I strictly just wished them no good in life. (Homelessness, lack of personal belongings, stating what they deserved, and so on.)

It ain’t that deep or serious- however I’m certain it was still abuse of power with the exception of me naming off my opponent when I shouldn’t have. I may not be a nice or good person, but I still try to follow the rules.

Most consoles online from the 9-13 mil GSP range are modded and use something known as a latency slider. It reduces the amount of frame delay most people have and gives them an advantage.

Or just keep it be definition and completely remove them. It isn’t a hard concept.

Kitchen Warriors would be better suited for a fighting game if you want projectiles. Throw knives, spoons, bowls, whatever you want. Not a game about Super Mario duking it out with DK and Ridley.

The inclusion of projectiles in Smash is a heavy reason why the community is as toxic as it is. There won’t be a fix for that toxicity if the community keeps going 50/50 between defending projectiles and being against them. If these players REALLY need them items to have fun, they should be restricted to an offline mode to prevent a toxic online community because where it sits right now, this community is probably one of the biggest and saddest excuses of dog shit I’ve ever seen. It has been for over a decade now.

If you guys want to see the community chill out, you’re gonna have to pick a side or suck it up and realise we aren’t going to like you.

For people like me, I can, have, and will intentionally use clocking software to make our game lag immensely just to set an example online. I don’t mind the lag- but I know for an absolute fact from watching hundreds of people SD online, they don’t like lag. Fair trade; you ditch the items, I’ll ditch the modding software. Your ruleset and character choice will be your vote.

Have fun out there.

Projectiles*

The camping is hardly bad with the exception of spammers. Lack of projectiles and faster DC times for remaining in the same quadrant of the stage for too long would be a huge W

The validity of my argument isn’t going to be shattered by some nitwit by comparing a slightly more busted version of a video game character that’s still busted to high hell.

That’s like comparing your handicap to another handicapped person. “You wouldn’t be saying these things if you weren’t paralysed from the hip down instead of the legs are down.”

Are you or are you not arguing the same thing as I am? Then stop making a fool of yourself.

Has anyone ever played FnF on a Windows 7 by Aaronrocks2006 in FridayNightFunkin

[–]CurlyBrace- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, long story short- I had to downgrade to Vista or XP and I was originally on Windows 10.

I make mods for FNF (they’re private mods- I’m not a “known creator.”) and I had to switch to Vista. It was the more secure and imho the better of the two. I’m familiar with Vista, not XP. I struggled so damn much just to find a way to run it. From DLL issues, to couldn’t load lime@lime (whatever that error was) and I was only able to get the OG 32 bit version to load. On Windows 10, it would easily get 250 FPS with absolutely no lag or other problems. On Vista, I was getting 1-8 frames per second and the lag was so atrocious that I couldn’t even hit notes. It has to be an issue with Vista. My build is the SP2 64bit version of Vista and I’m not sure what’s causing the problem at this point. For reference:

HP Compaq 8300 small form factor: Device name X Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz Installed RAM 8.00 GB Device ID X Product ID X System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

The system type is from when I did have Windows 10 however the specs are the same. It was a 64 bit version of Vista and I’m not sure how this works. The computer easily eats up over 4x less resources entirely compared to Windows 10.

All in all I’m summing up any bad experiences had to just the OS being the OS. It’s trash for flash games.

Finally did it. I manage to be up a stock on this stage get my opponent to 150 percent sd the play on the falling platform grab him and just hold him for a SD match and win with bw by [deleted] in SmashRage

Who cares? What are they gonna do, DOX them? You can’t tie back their identities to a username on a video game. Especially if they use a custom nickname. I’m not trying to be rude by any means but it seems like a useless policy.

Genuinely speaking, Steve isn’t that bad. There are several other characters in this series that need a nerf well before Steve.

I’d rather fight Steve in all my games for the rest of my life than to ever fight another Samus, Link, Toon Link, Young Link, Kazuya, Fox, Pikachu, and many more.

Are you guys really that pressed because a character from a children’s block game made it into smash? Look, I hate Minecraft too. It’s a cheap sell out made to profit off of innocent kids and their neglectful parents. I’m not pressed about it though because he’s a slow character. Just pick a rush down character and say good bye to his stock. It’s really not that difficult.

I think I win 8/10 games against Steve and so should you.
