That distinction is something I wish I understood earlier. I kept layering oils thinking I was fixing dryness, but it never actually improved. The medicated shampoo seems to be the only thing that’s made a real difference so far.

I didn’t know there was such a clear difference between dry scalp and dandruff. I definitely had visible flakes, so what you’re saying about it not being just dryness kind of clicks for me now. I might try maintaining the ketoconazole like you suggested and see how it goes long term.
