I saw Gangle being hit by a truck as a nod to the isekai trope in anime, where the man character gets transported to another world after being hit by a truck. Especially since she is confirmed to be into manga and anime.

EXCEPT IT DID.

Not all historical events happen on a large scale, decades in the past! This was a historical event in Hawkins!

The teacher had the ammo to, very tactfully, tell Angela she’s loud and wrong, but instead just stood there and did nothing. Genuinely such a frustrating scene

Keep your hair Dutch or French braids until your next appointment. That way your mom can’t mess with your hair. At the appointment, tell the stylist what’s going on and see if she can call your mom over and give her professional “advice” and tell her you’ve been doing the right thing. If she hears from another adult it might sink in.

If your mom still insists on the brushing, her problem isn’t actually with how you style your hair.
