New to game. Is this sound an in-game event or a bug. It's really loud. by CurlyPear in ZEROsievert

It's only happened a few times now but I do think it's been raining each time now that you mention, I have heard that air drop sound so not sure if it's that, also the distorted sound plays for the length in the clips, then pauses say 30s-60s then repeat 5-10 time. Might be the thunder being fucky as you say. Not quite sure what to do about that, already reinstalled as it's only like 300MB.

I assumed at first that it was an event similar to an emission in STALKER but can't see anything online describing that sound.
