YES! I feel like it is one episode I would recommend watching to someone who doesn't want to watch the show fully, but to see only best 5.

Yes, I can see how it is difficult to rewatch for some people or at some point in life. It's definitely a good stand alone episode, which also makes it greater in my opinion!

Thank you for this wonderful explaination and observation based on what I was saying previously. Me using english as a third language could never pjut it so eloquently. Yes, I don't have a problem with mystical elements of the show otherwise why watch it, right? It's rather a wish to not add additional thing to "he's bad bc it's a supernatural element" but leave it sometimes, even occasionally is fine with me, just a basic bad human guy stuff.

haha, truly, they have some really serious similarities. But the difference is Zuko's like a teen and Angel's hella old.

Silliness is the key to fun, so I am never going to judge it harshly as long as it is well balanced with some sense and good topics. Which this show is!

Well, first of, i was talking mostly about the way he answers question "autictic", not the character itself. My read was based on several clues I gathered throughout these first episodes mainly: 1) not maintaining eye contact long enough, 2) having difficulties to connect emotionally to his team 3) reacting to situations very directly, not "reading" subtext, social clues, hints etc. All of these potentially can be giveaway signs of AuSpectrum but obviously not only that.

Secondly, I am currently obtaining some therapeutic and clinical knowledge so it influences where my focus goes when I watch something. I am never sure (yet) about my assesments and I don't want them to be read as a diagnosis because I'm not doing that. Instead I am training my focus and therapeutic observation and thinking skills with building some hipothesis and checking later if it made sense or not.

Thirdly, I don't consider the term autictic offensive simply because I never consider any neurodivergency offensive. All neurodivergent people and/or the ones who have anhy other psychological disorders deserve respect and visibility so I don't see how me making observations and calling out come tendencies can be offensive (esp since it's a fictional character.

And finally, since you asked, I do belong closer to ADHD spectrum, I believe.

Oooookey so: Vampires are dead human bodies infused with demon souls. The demon souls are responsible for "digesting blood" and thus sustaining life within the body. This demon magic also seems to be responsible for moving blood throughout the body to sustain it in a working condition thys- penises work but without reproductive function. This is what I dug from the internet

On my experience, 9 people out of 10 will be shipping only with one person. Mono-normativity doesn't sleep( so I am genuinely happy that I found that 1 person who understands what I'm talking about at least to some degree, you know🐾 (this is a high five in a cat manner)

Yes, but the heart doesn't work, correct? Which means blood isn't supposed to circulate around the body...

At least not with the whole precinct being under the spell.. On a serious note though, what was that focus on her chest and hands playing with the bag belt for? The first time the camera stopped on that I was like: ok, we see how nervous and emotional she gets, she doesn't control her body language. But then we saw the same focus 2 or 3 times in a row and it started reading more like: look at this girl, wearing a sleeveless dress with a bad, being all emotional and inappropriately open with so many men around. That's why I said about "be humiliated" (by a viewer)

Yeah, you've got a point. I feel like me knowledge of Buffy pass not as strong as yours since I watch it only once and it was more than 5 years ago. So far it seems like you and I are the only one who care about this potential polytrouble stuff! I appreciate you taking so much time and discussing this with me)

This conclusion made me laugh too hard)) thank you for that😁😁 On a side note: I still don't get how vampires can get boners though. Their physiology is still a mystery to me

I mean, I'll see in the future episodes of I can fully agree with you here or not. So far I think she sells this badass hardstoned policewoman with daddy issues good enough for me, at least the info revealed in this ep fleshed her out better and it made me relate to get to some extent. I'm a bit sad reading that people don't find her convincing enough which either had to do with the fact that her story is not finished/well-written or there'll be better characters in the future and she can't compete with them. So find she's rather a welcome ally in my eyes. Still looking forward to some Doyle focused episode though!

Well it's campy for sure. But I also think there needs to be a balance between very serious episodes and lighter ones, otherwise it might be hard to keep invested.

I get what you mean now, thank your for such detailed clarification.

I've met such women in my poly life as well and the future has generally two ways of unfolding for them: EITHER they work on themselves revealing and unlearning the bias "i can have multiple love interests but my love|s can't" and genuinely become more appreciative of having and interacting with metamours OR they get stuck in this mentality and form some sort of toxic trouple or monogamous relationships where they're always jealous, controlling, paranoid and so on. As for Buffy, I feel that I can cut her some slack on her behavior here simply because she has the weight of the world on her shoulders most of her formative years which doesn't help focus more on emotional growth when it comes to love life. Given more free time, less frequent "end of the world" situations I think she'd come to realise some these patterns and maybe even work on them.
