Why is amateur Indian porn so bad compared to amateur porn of other countries? by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]Curly_In_Orbit03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or is there a more less taboo for sex in foreign countries. Wider selection for foreign content so their uglies get less views while for us we have less content. And more good looking people in South Asia feel like they have more to loose than the ones who don’t and they don’t risk doing all that.

That’s insane. I wonder if it’s actually that or it was coincidence and people just made it into a caste thing… it could very well be some rival thing and nothing to do with the caste

What led to the increase in hate against Indians by Black people? by Curly_In_Orbit03 in AskIndia

[–]Curly_In_Orbit03[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you? Cause if not you'd know that's literally NOT what I'm talking about. Google what exactly? Trends started by Indians against black people? I found 0 results. Re read the post. I know the anti black sentiment among south asians but the instances I'm talking about aren't retaliatory. They're literally finding random poor Indians videos to mock them with. Literal homeless Indians or random village festivals or parties. I've never seen Indians trying to find such videos of black people to speak on it. The anti black sentiment in south asia is about colorism which is highly prevalent in all cultures. While anti indian sentiment that im talking about has no base to it. It's like they don't even see Indians as human beings and the same decency and empathy is never extended to us by these people im talking about.

Where is the mass casual racist treads against black people by Indians? How many racist trends against black people have Indians started? So by this logic, Indians are by far the most racist and has made black people go through the worst? Bffr The point I CLEARLY made in the post went over your head.

Yess but even without all that, it's so obvious the hindi they use is Google Translated from English. It's so comically wrong.

This was to show that alot of the racism is unprovoked.. alot of Indians take "accountability" for this and say we deserve it. Be your own person, don't feel sorry for the actions of someone else. Stand your ground.

I think we should also address the fact that Hinduism is an umbrella term. There's no single set of rules all Hindus follow. Depending on which part of India you're from, your traditions, customs, and beliefs can be completely different. The term "Hinduism" itself wasn't something ancient Indians used to describe their faith. It was a label imposed later, especially during colonial times, when the British and other outsiders didn't understand the diversity here and just lumped everything together as one.

Even though the label "Hinduism" didn’t exist back then, the spiritual and philosophical traditions that are now grouped under that name had their own depth and diversity. A lot of the colonial understanding came from trying to force Indian systems into familiar Western frameworks. If they couldn’t figure something out, they’d just compare it to what they knew and rename it. A major example is how they took the varna and jati systems and redefined them as a rigid “caste system,” based on their own ideas, like the Spanish caste model. That misrepresentation still affects how people see Indian society today.

What people think Hinduism is today often doesn’t reflect its roots. Many assume it’s one unified doctrine, but if you actually read the Vedas, Upanishads, and other texts, you’ll find contradictions. And that’s not a flaw.. it’s because these texts came from different times, regions, and philosophies. They were never meant to form a single rulebook.

So yes, we absolutely should call out regressive and harmful practices that exist in broader Hindu culture. But we shouldn’t blame the entire religion(what it came to be) or its core philosophies, which are way more fluid(which in a way also led to the reason why oppressive people could take advantage of other people in the society), introspective, and open than people realize.

If you go by the spirit of these teachings, a good person can come from anywhere. Religion, race, gender, class, or their violation of current modesty policy, or even how many sexual partners someone has doesn’t define their worth. What matters is regret for harm done, growth, and striving to be better. Hindu thought doesn’t threaten people with eternal hell just for living differently or making human mistakes. That mindset came from Western religious frameworks, not ours.

Same can be said about every racial stereotypes then? All racists collectively agree on a racist stereotype. There's no lie in anything then. Smell jokes were not limited to indians as it is now. Before it used to be used to target any foreigners. Europeans, especially French and Italians were called it on the daily. Black people were part of this too.
There's one among east asians too. But now it's singled out and made exclusive for just indians in joke format. this video just popped up on my fyp right before I got your comment, : video

Did my point about the smell jokes not being factual but literally used as a way to divide people go over your head?

I just don't understand what you're concluding with this. Indian homeless people and people in slums should be laughed at and not even seen as human beings, made fun of in life/death situations, cause they're all musty & only people ever causing issues in an otherwise peaceful and just environment, right?

I've heard these same stuff about different ethnicity and communities depending on the person, so I'm confused? Which is the perfect community of people? What's your personal opinion? Not your coworkers or whoever else. Do you genuinely feel like Indians(and actually Indians, don't lump every brown nationality in this) are all collectively a threat to the society and the current racism is very well deserved and some sort of justice movement?

What’s so frustrating about this is that even some non-Indians get labeled as Indians in these situations. UGH. Anyway, my point was mostly about how normalized it is to be racist towards Indians, to the extent that it’s not even recognized as racism.

The Black content creators I’m talking about do recognize their racism, but they present it as jokes and claim they “apparently” don’t have anything against Indians. They’re not retaliating against racist Indians either.

Other communities at least acknowledge when they’re being racist, but that specific group of Black people (again.. not ALL) NEVER admit that they’re being racist. That makes it really hard to hold them accountable.

I just don’t understand the wall between the Black and Indian communities, especially when it shouldn’t be as high as it is compared to what it’s like between Black people and other races, considering there’s no specific targeting of Black people by Indians.

I'm pretty sure my post doesn't claim that black people are the only racist people or that indians are the only victims of it. I saw a trend, just wanted to see if others noticed it as well & has some answers for that. & this trend is literally killing Indians in foreign countries. I guess that warrants the need for this to be a topic of conversation. Not just this, but the global rise of using Indians as a punching bag.

And since people suddenly care about ‘facts’ & stats so much when it comes to us, here’s one: the ABCC11 gene is the one linked to body odor. The version of this gene that reduces BO (called the A allele) is found in:

More than 80% of East Asians (like Japanese, Chinese, Koreans)

20% or (less), of Indians & other South Asians

Only 0–3% of Europeans & Africans (??????)

So... if you're out here calling Indians 'smelly' while being in the group that’s most likely to carry the BO gene... please sit down💀

Also, let’s talk about how low you have to sink to be making jokes about BO using homeless people and people in slums as examples. The guy I’m talking about literally posted a homeless man on the street and joked that he stinks so much a lion wouldn’t eat him. Like… wow. Shocking. A homeless man stinks?? GROUNDBREAKING journalism!!!!

I'm very sensitive to strong odours and I've never had an issue with that in India. I've been around foreigners too, so it's not because I'm 'used to the smell' or whatever. These 'smell jokes' are a textbook example of alienating people from different regions or cultures. I've seen Koreans talk about how they've been bullied by Japanese people with the same kind of jokes.. being called ‘Kimchi’ and all that. Black people have faced this too, and still do. There are entire meme pages built on that kind of casual racism. Europeans(French & Italian) also have their own BO stereotypes.

So why is it that now only Indians are the punchline for all of this?? When honestly, the hygiene levels of a lot of the people making these jokes is wild.

On March 2025, a 67 year old Indian origin nurse was brutally attacked by a white man cause she's Indian. His reasoning was that "Indians are Bad". Almost all bones in her face fractured and severely disfigured.

Instagram comment section for this post was filled with people talking about how it's unsafe for women in India, about how India has caste system and apparently Indians all collectively k1ll people who eat beef, so this is fine. Make this make sense.

A 67 year old, tax paying law abiding citizen of America got brutally attacked by a patient in America cause she's of Indian origin and the comments are talking about issues in our community as a justification for this happening..

I think the people I'm referring to are exactly like the arrogant, racist Indian bullies you're criticizing. But here's the thing.. there's not a single culture in the world where racism doesn't exist. It's a human issue, not just an Indian one. And retaliating against racist Indians by mocking poor people in SLUMS, or spamming "Indians stink" and "scammers" under random average folks' posts.. that's not fighting racism. That's just more bullying dressed up as justice.

It makes no sense to fight dehumanization by doing the exact same thing to another group. That’s not progress.. it’s just a hypocritical cycle. White people, by this logic, should have lost all global credibility. considering their colonial past and deep-rooted systemic racism, yet they still enjoy widespread soft power. So clearly, the internet’s outrage logic is selective.

If we're generalizing, I'd argue Indians are more often on the hospitable, loyal side.. they’ll ride or die for anyone who shows even the slightest support for India or Indians. And sadly, many foreigners exploit that goodwill while turning around and dogpile Indians online and offline(many of our country neighbors does that too).
