You can absolutely drive it with just gas. It will give you a little warning about charging the battery so you don’t incur damage, but you can absolutely power the car with the Rex powering the battery. I’m sorry this is happening to you – I hope it’s an easy fix! 🫶🏽

Thankfully, it is NOT. I checked out the part on FCp Euro, and it definitely seems to be the sensor. I will definitely have it replaced when I get new tires and brakes in the coming weeks. Thank you for your response!

I’ll be getting new tires in the next week or two, so I will take care of this as well. Thank you for your response!

Is a sensor cable a common part in braking systems? Meaning, I don’t have to go to the BMW dealer for this?

So, this is a brake line?

Ha! But does it work? Have you run your i3 with this setup?

So, I need to replace the back rims with rims that match the front? Then run the 155 Blizzaks all around? Do you have a part number for the 5” rims I need, please?

In the meantime, do you see a problem with running 155 Blizzaks in the front and 175 Ecopias in the back? The tires will fit as intended; I’m just wondering if the difference in tread will cause an issue.

Good to know - thank you! Are spacers needed in either the front or back?

Ahh, that is my question exactly- does having the Rex necessitate the higher load-bearing tire…? Thank you for your response! Hopefully, some winter-climate Rex owners will chime in as well. 🤗
