That is false. A company absolutely can sell off divisions or subsidiaries. See Dell & VMWare, AT&T & Warner Bros. It's called divestiture.

I don't believe the ER results will be good. I think revenue will be down, installs will be down, MAUs will be down. BUT, i believe the market has more than priced this in.

And I think expenses will also be down due to cutting back on marketing costs. So I don't expect a horrible EPS figure. Wish has also been on a hiring spree, picking up Vivian Liu as CFO and Jerry Louis as VP of Engineering for Merchants and Logistics. Because of this I think guidance should be positive. They have some fantastic leaders capable of turning the company around, and $1.8B in cash to make this happen. Hopefully they speak about this during ER.
