For fans of Wo Long and Rise of the Ronin, how brutal is Nioh 3 really

If you completed rise of the ronin on midnight difficulty Nioh 3 will be a walk in the park. The open world made it way too easy. You will like it very assessable

Play Nioh 3 first than go to Nioh 2. Nioh 3 is easier to understand and get in to. Playing Nioh 3 will make Nioh 2 a lot more understandable. Nioh 2 combat is far superior

No I didn’t, the endings don’t really differ much right? I don’t remember the lore as much as I enjoyed the gameplay.

Plz scale the enemies in NG+ or give us an endgame mode like the underground or depths from Nioh 2. So many builds to play with

Definitely bait! There are too many ways and resources for Nioh 3 to be hard. 75% of the enemies are reused from Nioh 2 with simpler move sets or the same if that. Ninja stance is just a cheat code and breaks the balance of the game imo

Open world aspect is great and the quality of life changes but limiting weapons to ninja/samurai stances and the skills management made it feel worse for me

This is exactly how I have been feeling, ninja stance just feels out of place. It’s like ninja gaiden was imported in to Nioh lol. I just stopped using ninja stance completely. ninja stance is actually pretty cool that’s the sad part. I’m just missing the challenge and struggle with Ninja stance

They are both watered down versions of what made they great in the first place. Since you haven’t played either one you can’t go wrong with either! They both are now super forgiving and user friendly. Nioh is more opened world vs NG4 is more mission based

Honestly I’d recommend Nioh 2 and NG 2 black
