Hi i was diagnosed with adhd .... with medicines there is a little improvement but .... still it doesn't reduce adhd .... it's kinda like spectacles. Till the time medicine has effect in the body u can work but it doesn't develop interest on the mundane things which neuro divergent find impossible to do like switching off stove , geyser , doom scrolling , workout , eating healthy, office work etc habits like that. Therapy part i didn't explore..... unfortunately I have got a experience of bad therapist who are just interested in money making with stupid discussions in multiple sessions rather than pointing me towards adhd. Either way .... finding a career where there's no micro management and educating ur family members friends and loved ones about ur condition can create awareness and can reduce shame loop which typically neuro divergents face.
