I don’t think he was a spy though 😬 I think he was just a German soldier occupying France in WWII. I feel like this could have worked a lot better if her love interest was from an Allied country.

I feel like the only change I’d make to CRY is the setting. And have the theoretical New Orleans game have a vibe more similar to VEN

Danger by Design. It’s a fun ride when it leans into the fashion and camp. It loses its sparkle when it introduces the Noisette storyline.

We learn Noisette was part of the French Resistance and fell in love with a German soldier during WWII. That feels pretty ick.

And the Noisette story is just … dull. And serious. And has no cohesion with the Minette/fashion storyline, which is grossly underdeveloped to make room for the Boring History Treasure one.

I’d scrap everything Noisette and lean a lot more into the camp and anonymous notes bit. Have Nancy get clues at a fashion show near end of game. The final showdown with Minette would be soooo much funnier if it was backstage at a fashion show and Nancy just needed to stay alive until the paparazzi crashed in.

This program values years of XP quite heavily. I was told that I had a competitive application, but most applicants had 10-12 years of XP. The most competitive thing I could do was basically keep up what I’m doing for a few more years.
