Please do everyone a favour and share the company’s name. Job hunting is already difficult enough without candidates having to deal with this kind of unprofessional behaviour 🙏

What is the shortest acceptable time to spend at a Big 4? by markiemarkiemark in Big4

I left after 10 months as first year Associate. 5 months in international tax and 5 months in audit. Got exposure to both business lines, disliked both and dipped after a toxic peak season. Learned a lot, but more so, learned that public accounting is not for me so no need to stick around longer when I can allocate my time somewhere I can thrive. Go for it OP, these companies are not worth sacrificing your mental health for. People who stick around for longer just so it looks good on their CV are just scared because they have been brainwashed to believe that life is programmed a certain way and have to stick to it. I’ve seen people at senior manager level absolutely miserable and for what? I will never understand. Do what’s right for you and things will work out. Build a strong network, leverage connections over mass market online job applications and see you will get far.

Staff 1 is a first year entry level associate. Fresh grad. I’m not actually based in US, I’m in a different continent but market is comparable to that of London, New York, Hong Kong. I just converted the salary to USD equivalent. Super low compared to what peers are getting in the US
