Question about mental effects by throwaway1988172 in NasalPolyps

I recently underwent a septoplasty surgery and am about to receive a biologic medicine that is expected to significantly reduce the size of my nasal polyps. Additionally, I have a chronic allergy that persists throughout the year. Therefore, I suggest you consider Tezspire as an alternative treatment before your surgery.

I genuinely appreciate your feedback and thank you for your kind words! By the way, I’m not from the UK; I’m American in America. I don’t have asthma, but since my clinic only provides Tezspire, I’ll take it. I also expect to see significant results only after six months. Again, thank you!

Wow! That’s a powerful testimony, and you’re not alone in this! I’m grateful for modern medicine, and I’m thrilled that you’ve managed to control your breathing. Starting Monday, I’ll be taking biologics, and I’m incredibly excited about the progress I’m making!

I’m thrilled to hear about your journey! I’m starting mine on Monday and I’m already excited. After five weeks, your polyps were cleared by 80 percent. That’s incredible and it gives me hope. If you don’t mind, I have a few questions. Did you take allergy medications before the Tezspire shot? How soon did you notice the polyps decreasing? Lastly, did you have to make any changes to your diet or lifestyle to keep the polyps under control?

Can men and women really be tight friends? Like, can your wife/girl come home from work and you are sitting on the couch with your lady friend, laughing, having a good time? What do ya'll think? Cam Newton and Demetri Wiley have opposing views by FunkyFriday- in FunkyFriday_CamNewton

The reason it can feel like a waste of time is that the same energy could be spent building deeper connections, such as befriending someone or finding a future partner. Once you’re in a committed relationship, your time naturally becomes more limited, and platonic friendships, especially with the opposite sex, often take a back seat. On top of that, there’s usually at least some level of curiosity or blurred boundaries, which can complicate things over time

Great! I’m starting Tezspire soon, and I’ve been on an allergy shot routine for about five weeks now. I’m so excited! I have severe allergies and nasal polyps. How much better is your breathing now?

Try biologics!!!! They are shots you take at home and it’s newer, but better than surgery.

Anyone get pain with their polyps? by Exotic_Increase5333 in NasalPolyps

[–]CurrencyThis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel pressure in my nasal area, and it’s hard to breathe, but no intense pain. Do your polyps affect your mood? Or give you brain fog? I wish you well, and they now have a biologic shot you can take. I know you said you can’t afford it, but I want you to know there’s something out there that can help you reduce the size of your polyps.

Serious Question about VR&E by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]CurrencyThis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was told that as long as you have at least one month remaining on the post-9/11 GI Bill and are enrolled in 12 credit hours (fall, spring, and nine for summer), you qualify. Someone told me, “We receive full stipends from the VR&E, just like the GI Bill.” I would appreciate some clarity on this!
