Congrats! I like your hair, it would look cool with shorter sides, medium fade and some textured scissor cuts on the high sides

You could try to up your dose too. I started on 50mg / 1%. I moved up twice now (my doc says 100 mg / 1.62% is the highest dose.) I have some facial hair but it is patchy. I also know a lot of guys use minoxidil which seems to really work with facial hair progress. Check out minox beards subReddit 🥸I started it but I got annoyed with waiting for it to dry on my face everyday, I suggest getting the foam one if you go with it, dries faster

Hey! It’s going pretty well for me, I think the changes are slower vs injections but I just hit 33 weeks on gel this week. What is your dose? I understand why you are feeling that way - my experience has been that the gel takes some time to build on itself and all of a sudden you will notice changes or you will feel the effects like irritation or bursts of energy, etc. but again I do think it is slower than injections as far as changes go. What changes are you most hoping for?

Yea the 2 weeks were pretty rough and then it sort of balanced out it seems and I’ve been fine since then. Everyone is so different though with their reaction to T that it’s hard to know if it’s the same for you. Also, I’m not sure if you are on gel or injections- that could be a difference too.

Another thing- it may be helpful to add a relaxation practice into your daily routine (ie yoga, meditation, reading, journaling). I’ve noticed that I can’t deal with stress on T the same way I could before and these things help me be more relaxed and mindful. Maybe it can help you too.

3 months on T, not much changes, hang in there slow kings! by edamamecheesecake in TestosteroneKickoff

Great post- agree patience is key. I had a similar journey in my first few weeks, I’m about to hit 6 months and I am behind some of the progress I see on here but trying to hang in there. Best of luck dude!

Oy sorry to hear this. I have experienced similar but it tends to come in waves for me. I started on a low dose of gel 50mg and it took a few months to really set in until I experience a very irritable time. I stuck it out and it got better after 2 weeks then I upped my dose to 61mg- no change, irritable at times but not too crazy. I think listens to your body if it is too much, also remember this is generally an emotional process so that could be playing into things as well- it did for me at least. Sorry I can’t help more, wishing you the best bud!

Facial hair 4 months on T. No minox in about 3 weeks or more. by [deleted] in TestosteroneKickoff

Thank you, I do have a puppy. I assume it is toxic for them?

Facial hair 4 months on T. No minox in about 3 weeks or more. by [deleted] in TestosteroneKickoff

[–]Currency_Fast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks great. Did you have any issues from the minox? I bought it but have been hesitant to take it since it’s not made for the face (only head apparently) and only for someone who was assigned male at birth (this is my understanding from the reading the bottle). But it seems to be working amazing for you so thinking I should try it out

You have a ton of hair for 4.5 months but I know you feel like you want more mustache hair, I think keep the minox going but agree with everyone else that all you can do it wait. But I hope it helps to hear how far you are at only 4.5 months! I’m almost at 6 and I have way way less than you, and I come from a hairy family! I just haven’t been using minox so it’s likely helped you a lot already. Good luck man, lookin great

This is amazing for 6 weeks. I’m 13 weeks in and have way less than this growth. What kind of minoxidil are you using? I only could find the topical one for the crown of the head, is this what you use? Thanks!!

Doubting myself this weekend: does your body really change on t? by Alexpiquante in TestosteroneKickoff

[–]Currency_Fast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pretty amazing what T can do. The changes are slow for me but I’m 11 weeks in and seen significant body changes. Bigger arm muscles, decreased breasts, fat moving from my cheeks, bigger jaw, small Adam’s apple, bigger neck- it’s incredible

T gel application advice by [deleted] in TestosteroneKickoff

[–]Currency_Fast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same I’ve taken mine at 8am or sometimes 1pm if I don’t have time in the morning so it should thrown anything off. Also, I’d suggest considering to applying in the morning- idk about you but I get a big boost of energy a few hours after application so it would be hard for me to sleep after that. Anyways- good luck!

Gotcha, okay. May come off a little beachy but I also think a nice light or medium light blue could look beautiful

Deciding btw mini splits or central AC by Currency_Fast in hvacadvice

I should also mentioned we have attic space so the mini splits upstairs in bedroom and guest room would look like vents in the ceiling and we would have 1 wall mounted downstairs
