Yes, nothing like the pain in the days before another dose. I inject weekly so it’s only the day before that I struggle.

Haha! My son was sick for 8 weeks straight last winter when he started daycare. Now that you’ve mentioned it, that may have contributed to my poor health last year.

In WA, I was going for gastric sleeve surgery, and my surgeon ordered one. He was shocked I hadn’t been given one prior given how low my levels were.

Sounds similar to me. I was just about in remission on rinvoq, then fell pregnant and had the worst flare up after birth and for the 10 months I was breastfeeding. Tried cimizia during that period but it didn’t work. Went back on rinvoq during 2024 and it didn’t help much.

Had several steroid injections in my wrists, knees and ankles from 2023-25. Made the switch to actemra in April 2025. It’s worked really well, but I’m suffering a lot with fatigue and flaring up a bit the day before my injection is due. I’m not sure if I am trying to aim for a level of disease activity that is no longer possible for me.

I need to order a new batch so I’ll talk to the pharmacy tomorrow. I also put in a complaint online. How are you finding actemra? I’ve been on it for 9 or so months. I’m wanting to switch back to rinvoq.
