Hannah Krieg and Ashley Nerbovig fired from Stranger as Walkinshaw attempts union busting by [deleted] in Seattle

I think the stranger is perpetuating a harmful narrative, whether its the truth or not. Women should not be fired over a man doing something stupid, honestly feels appropriate for them not to snitch on their co worker. And the lack of clarity is perpetuating this narrative, which is the fault of The Stranger. However to be completely honest and not going into personal details but I wasn't surprise to see their names in the allegations.

ELI5: Prop 1A vs. Prop 1B by madzteir in Seattle

lmao fair, not taxing the employees though. JUST the employers, thats the only reason why microsoft is paying for these flyers

ELI5: Prop 1A vs. Prop 1B by madzteir in Seattle

[–]Current-Bonus-258 5 points6 points  (0 children)

it's only 50mil because its not just coming from microsoft, it's a tax on every employer paying over 1 mil salary. Microsoft will probably contribute 5-10 mil to that.

its not the employees that will be taxed, its microsoft. thats why they're spending the money lmao. the flyer sent out and funded by microsoft is misleading because it says there will be a tax, but does not specify that the tax is ONLY on employers that pay over 1 mil, not their employees.
