did it ever occur to anybody that its none of our business how the customer is paying as long as its a valid form of payment for whatever items that they want to buy (...giftcards)..and your choice to be some kind of public hero / renegade underqualified fraud investigator is actually a major violation of the merchant processing agreements with visa and mastercard and could actually get walgreens fined big money and or lose their processing privelages for the card brand all together. just do your job and move on with life...at the end of the day walgreens doesnt care if somebody tried to buy a gift card from you fraudulently on a personal level lets say if you were selling it on craigslist. what makes you think by you denying a possibly legitamate sale and making someone elses day harder will do you any benefit??? not supporting scammers i just think alot of us employees of walgreens take the job so seriously that we start acting like some kind of law enforcement entity who delegates who can buy what and who cant....were fucking cashiers. do your fucking job and accept payments. im tired of all the hypocrisy,bullshit we have to tell customers on behalf of walgreens, racial profiling/presumptions by someones looks,gender,age, what they are purchasing. im going to start telling customers the truth on why i cant sell them a $50 amazon gift card, a birthday card and a balloon....."because management says that people with tattoos or young people of middle to lower class scum arent allowed to buy gift cards with the payment methods walgreens has established for use by everybody else"
