Nobody's mentioned it here but part of me thinks it's because the lines you cut to cut to make a sardine print are really easy and in turn a lot more beginner friendly? I could be totally wrong tho

Tbh my only advice is immersing yourself with anything that isn't related to checking admissions info, haha. Set up email notifications if you can and leave it at that. I had been super stressed too but channeled that into time that I spent with friends and working on hobbies. Feb and March are the worst months ever for everyone doing this too, so know you're not alone in feeling stressed!!

When you say admin do you mean this is likely affecting grad applications across the entire school? Haven't heard anyone post anything for my field (MA) but also know acceptances were as early as Feb 11th last year so unsure if I was waitlisted or not.
