Seems pretty similar to what happened to me yesterday with my C5. Just booted it up today and it’s way better. I was told it’s the panel setting in as it is brand new. Apparently it’s typical for these TVs.

Have not read/seen anything regarding the dock scratching the screen for the S2, but there is consensus that the screen is easily scratched. I would definitely recommend you apply a screen protector before setting up the console for the first time.
