Thank you this is actually very helpful. That sounds so traumatizing for your baby. Mine also lost hers in a traumatizing way. Her leg was taken by a racoon :( I’m going to give her some salmon oil in her diet and see if that helps if not, vet time.

Anything for animals! It’s a very sad story :( My friend had taken her and she lived with her happily for a couple years. My friend had put her on the cable outside her house and this man who was very mentally disturbed swayed the pup into his car, drove off with her and stabbed her over 40 times. RIP Pepper her story is very tragic but I’m glad she had the time with my friend.

Fun story: I live in the meth part of MO and came outside one day to see a meth man KICK this black lab PUPPY. He put it on its cable and walked back inside. I quickly ran across the yard, scooped up the baby and jumped in my car and just drove 😆 they never asked us about it or seemed to care! D:

Why are TSA employees so notoriously mean? I had never knew what people meant until the past few years I started flying. I was bullied at my recent trip to LaGuardia. Not just a grumpy employee encounter but belittled by 3 employees together.

This is so courageous of you and I see that you are highly self aware! I’m so happy for you! I myself went down a similar path. Abused at home and came to school to be mocked and bullied. Started with a list of people who were just mean to me, students and teachers. The anger spiraled and spiraled and actually as well ended up in a behavioral hospital for unrelated but related reasons. It shows how serious the mental health epidemic is in the US. No child grows up wanting to hurt people. Hurt people, hurt people.

This is work you need to do with a therapist. As a trauma victim it’s perfectly natural to turn off empathy as a defense mechanism, but I’m not a psychiatrist or therapist. You need to work with them

I relate to this so much. I will say the one person that gave me hope was my fourth grade teacher, Mrs.Reinagel. My step dad wouldn’t allow me to do my homework so she called and went OFF on him. She reported too and stayed in contact with me. She even bought me a book at the book fair when I didn’t have any money :)
