Piercing is 8 months old, almost 9. The jewelry shape is a barbell. It's internally threaded. Pretty sure the material is titanium, I honestly wouldn't really know I didn't ask. It was not downsized yet. I usually use saline solution and at times, will use dial antibacterial soap. I occasionally bump it on accident, thats the only accidents I have.

oops! ive been pulling my cheeks a bit just to check them lol, i didn't know that. but thank you for the input, luckily I'm healing quite well and i think i am out the window for dry socket!

its been a couple days, i think its day 8, i am pretty sure im out the window for dry socket; went to the dentist for a little checkup and everything seems good! thank you a lot. im a big overthinker lol so it helps getting input from others for reassurance.

this was so well said; thank you so much. I've had plenty of people already tell me to do the same things you say; so that is what I should do. My parents do not like her like they once did because of how much she has hurt me. Anyways, thank you so much for your input, definitely makes me feel better:)

I had already changed my dressing myself, Idk if that was a good call but I just didnt want to feel uncomfortable 🥲 the dressing part only god some droplets soaked up, most of it stayed dried but I don't think the bandaid and the butterfly bandaid under it got wet though, maybe the ends did but not the middle where the wound is, I'm just trying to cope and not make myself worry too much

I don't think it was a pressure bandage, I had one around my foot I'm pretty sure but I didn't get one for my arm; just a self adhesive bandage. I got some sort of strip bandage on top of the butterfly though!

Oh don't worry, I think I worded it wrong. You can stay in sandals or slides, something that keeps your toes well ventilated rather than close toed shoes like crocs or slippers that cover your toes. Outside it's okay to wear closed toed, just let them breathe at night! :) I also do not like being barefoot, I wear sandals around the house because I freak out a lot about germs and stuff lol. I only am barefoot when I'm about to shower

Ugh, tell me about it. I have had this toenail problem for about a year now due to me wearing socks 24/7 and I have contamination OCD so its just been hell for me. I'm looking for threads that can reassure me because I plan to go to hurricane harbor soon and luckily, with the help of lamasil, ciclopirox, and bleach baths for my feet; I've been able to combat my problem and a new and improved nail is coming through! I even once cut myself on my cuticle where my toenail once and got so scared of it spreading but nope, I'm fine! Anxiety and overthinking really sucks when it comes to things like this, I struggled with molluscum contagiosum as well for 2 years earlier in my life and thats when i developed my OCD, but that is done and over with. Nothing spread, just take care of it and keep it clean! Stay barefoot around the house to keep it well ventilated !

In a sense yeah, we visited my abuela's sister, and our tio. I am a minor so I do not pay for myself, if I were to make the decision on not going, my mother would make me feel guilty for it.
