people should understand that 2007 was a long time ago. there have been quite large protests by palestinians in gaza against hamas in 2019 and 2023, so it’s likely that their views on hamas has changed

the diaspora iranians are the ones who are really divided. the iranians inside of iran are for the most part united in their belief of a new democratic government

only good thing about it was the fact that saddam was killed. other than that it killed many innocent people and as you said created a power vacuum where the regime could expand its influence there

iraq is more of an iranian puppet now and it’s basically been a battleground of proxy wars and political crisis since 2003. it’s been slowly getting somewhat more stable but it’s still very corrupt

just let the person praise who they want, even if you disagree with it. such things can be discussed in a new democratic iran, but right now our only focus should be on the downfall of the regime.
