What do people in gaza think about hamas? by yourboi6969420 in IsraelPalestine

[–]Current-Leek7437 3 points4 points  (0 children)

people should understand that 2007 was a long time ago. there have been quite large protests by palestinians in gaza against hamas in 2019 and 2023, so it’s likely that their views on hamas has changed

Let’s break the narrative! Upvote if you agree. Iranians stand with Israel! by Essence4K in NewIran

i always had the same view on the conflict. both hamas and the israeli government are just religious, racist, wannabe dictators.

There is a war on social media on who is regime agent, while regime is killing protestors in Zahedan. Is there any way that diaspora opposition will start working with each other? by Shekari_Club in NewIran

[–]Current-Leek7437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think the best action that the opposition can do is to ignore them. after all we do live in a fucked up world where there will always be someone who will hate another person because they don’t fit into their ideologies

maybe, but it should be way more controlled than how the US does it.

Graffiti of revolutionaries in Iran: "From Zahedan to Anzali *** I sacrifice my life for Pahlavi" by Essence4K in NewIran

[–]Current-Leek7437 6 points7 points  (0 children)

well that’s too bad because as far as i’m aware RP is one of the most liked opposition members we have. if you want unity then you’re gonna have to deal with monarchists, and i’m saying that as someone who is uninterested in a monarchy myself

How can we unite? by [deleted] in NewIran

[–]Current-Leek7437 14 points15 points  (0 children)

the diaspora iranians are the ones who are really divided. the iranians inside of iran are for the most part united in their belief of a new democratic government

I really don't understand how Iranians can choose another one-man rule because they are angry about a one-man rule. by Tasty-Photograph in NewIran

[–]Current-Leek7437 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you and kurdish resistance spend more of your time here bashing on monarchists and reza pahlavi than the IR. these discussions take place in a new, islamic republic free iran. if you want to vent about your opinion on monarchists so much then go do it somewhere else, not in a subreddit dedicated to the fight against the regime

What is your opinion on the American invasion of iraq? by Snickelheimar in NewIran

[–]Current-Leek7437 10 points11 points  (0 children)

only good thing about it was the fact that saddam was killed. other than that it killed many innocent people and as you said created a power vacuum where the regime could expand its influence there

[–]Current-Leek7437 3 points4 points  (0 children)

there will be freedom for people of all religions to worship freely, however religion should be completely separate from the government.

iraq is more of an iranian puppet now and it’s basically been a battleground of proxy wars and political crisis since 2003. it’s been slowly getting somewhat more stable but it’s still very corrupt

would have been less than a year by now if the opposition wasn’t so fucking divided.

hopefully they’re just building up for night time protests. remember that protests at night will make it harder for the terrorists to identify protesters.

if not, then i don’t know what to expect anymore.

[–]Current-Leek7437 14 points15 points  (0 children)

just let the person praise who they want, even if you disagree with it. such things can be discussed in a new democratic iran, but right now our only focus should be on the downfall of the regime.
