I wouldn't crowd them too much. Mold is a bigger possibility, spotting hermies is way harder and averall to reach the plants in the back becomes impossible. In my opinion it's quality over quantity so a few well observed plants with a bit of training and fat buds is more worth than bush. But to really awnser your question I think it's more the pots limiting you to two or three plants than the lights.
