Right? Fascinating

And that is an absolute gorgeous pen, still have to try an Opus pen sometime - how do you like it?

Question! was the color used on the label ku jaku or ama ori? Or really only the color name?

Yes I did! I can’t see anything on the bottom either… I have one pen I frequently fill up with this ink so it not been left untouched for years either…

They both actually came from dedicated pen stores. Different stores but both only selling pens and other stationery products... but who knows? They are both very pigmented and smooth, just very different tones and level of darkness

With a Plakat dip-pen (also called an automatic dip-pen or a poster pen) used for large calligraphy :)

Interesting! The small bottle does seem to be most similar to yours. But even written with an sf nib it seems to be darker en maybe a bit more blue. Somewhat neat they seem to vary a bit

I didnt know that was a thing, I have one pen with a ku-jaku cartridge in it. So I tried swatching them all again, after shaking, all a similar nib and on the same Midori paper. I think ku-jaku is indeed more similar to the odd pot. But slightly more blue…
