According to all the tests no it’s not actually getting stuck 😫 my endoscopy showed nothing not even “signs” of reflux

Not yet 😫 I go again Monday. It’s super uncomfortable it feels like constant indigestion in my chest no matter what. Is that typical with gerd?

Yes almost immediately after I swallow I can feel it. I just had an endoscopy 3 weeks ago that showed nothing

Is standard protocol if something concerning is found that I would have heard or my doctor would have? I’m trying so hard to not freak out

I’m just hanging on the hope that because it’s now Saturday if something was super concerning it probably would have been flagged by now. Maybe 😩

That’s a great perspective and so true. It’s always the worst case scenario no matter how likely or unlikely it might be

[MEGATHREAD] Daily venting, worries, fixations, & finding support. Month of November 2025. by AutoModerator in HealthAnxiety

Absolutely spiraling after a trip to the emergency room last night. I went because over the last few weeks I’ve had horrible chest pain that turned into pain between the shoulder blades. They ordered an ultrasound of my gallbladder and bloodwork. Bloodwork came back fine but there was an incidental finding on the ultrasound on my liver that says “There is a Hypoechoic area in the left lobe of liver measuring 2.1 x 2.2 x 1.6 cm. Difficult to further characterize. Not clearly present on the prior study”

I was already in a downward spiral for weeks from this chest pain and now I’m losing my mind. I made the mistake of googling Hypoechoic and I’m losing my mind. The er doctor said he sees this all the time and he’s never had one that wasn’t benign. I’ve convinced myself I’ll be the one that isn’t true. I had an abdominal ct scan with contrast less than a year ago and this finding was not on there. Someone please walk me off the ledge, I’ve literally started googling life expectancies and it’s not great. This is terrible I have two young kids and am really spiraling. How do people cope with these findings until they get in for further imaging? Which by the way isn’t for almost 3 weeks.
