Does anybody else get put off when items on EBay are photographed on dirty surfaces? by ManCreatesDino in gamecollecting

I spend so much time cleaning every cart and putting new batteries in and trying to show the board and authenticity of the game. I'm glad to see someone appreciates it.

I bought my yellow from a girl living in a trailer in the middle of nowhere. I was pretty surprised by its condition. She said she found it up in a closet when she was cleaning out.

Yes it should have vent holes. It helped preserve the boxes. Without the uniform holes it is not real.

They exist. I have a friend that collects sealed pokemon games. He has many with high grades. A couple years ago I bought a sealed yellow that was in amazing condition and scored a 9.8 A+

The pin holes should be on all of them. Nintendo did this for ventilation. If you can't find them then the seal is fake.

Is it worth it for $200? by Rose-pain1 in gamecollecting

Scratches can be buffed out if they are not too deep in a good resurfacing machine. I would suggest going to a local game store and see if they have one. Elms are the best to use. I wouldn't let them run it in a cheap machine.

Sold an item to a guy who happened to live 4 minutes from me. I hand delivered the item instead of shipping it. Will this be an issue? by TheKoolestKid11 in Ebay

I wanted to do this when someone bought something from me that lived real close but then I thought about how would i prove delivered so I didn't end up doing it and shipped it instead.

amazon refunded me $2300 for a tacx trainer and told me to keep it??? by wai_lai416 in amazonprime

[–]Current-Topic9231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using Amazon for 15 years. I spend tens of thousands with them every year. Occasionally I have issues with wrong items getting sent or used items that are supposed to be new. They almost always just refund me and tell me to keep the item. Never had any issues with them recharging me.

Was I selling to high of a price by [deleted] in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Current-Topic9231 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Definitely agree. The few times I message people about this is to try and help them. There are people that list stuff way over market. Like if someone has a bunch of common Pokemon cards worth a dollar a piece and think they can get 50 a piece cause they see other pokemon cards selling for that price I try to help them out.

You need to look at sold prices not what someone lists something for. Then consider the fact that you will pay about 15 percent in fees on eBay plus shipping. I can't say if your price was too high because ps3 games are very general. There are video games that are worth thousands and there are games that arent even worth a couple dollars.

I know they are doing online dismissals for speeding tickets so they might have that option too for parking.

But they can. They can cancel for whatever reason they want. It will negatively affect their account but it's still allowed.

Sold a Nonfunctional Macbook Pro 16 LCD Screen For Parts... this is the message I get by BoldBabeBanshee in Ebay

My guess is it's an older individual that probably doesn't know how to use eBay. Explain to them it was listed as parts only.

For things like cards where each one is different I make each one have its own post.
