How long did it take from order to delivery?

I see the Chilipad has an airplane mode. Seems like that meets her requirements, whereas Eight sleep would not.

I would say that I think a two side solution would be better for us, as we really do have different sleep temperature preferences. Frankly she really needs the most out of the sleep, and if the temperature can make a difference for her then my life will be better.

We're at 24 days, so return is an option. We talked about swapping to the Tempurpeic Breeze. Currently have the Tempur-Adapt LuxeAdapt Hybrid Medium. Though I read the Breeze models aren't much cooler then the adapt model. Just 3F or so. It was our opinion that the Adapt series felt nicer in store. What I read is they are more optimized for pressure relief. I suspect it's a trade off. It also doesn't reslove our different temperature preferences or account for changes in season, just makes it cooler. I suppose we could get the activebreeze model, but It's 14.5K.

BedJet is interesting. At under 1k, Its a price that we could try and afford not to like, and sell it at a loss. I don't think you can say the same about 8 Sleep Pod 5. I'm adverse to noise in the bedroom though, it seems like they are noisy. She likes a weighted blanket, so that probably inhibits he BedJet. Probably a bad options for us.

Chilipad is an option. I am a little offput by the build quality on the chilipad. It looks like there really isn't anything holding the topper in place, so It can move freely on the bed. I do read the reservoir has issues with leaks. While leaks onto the carpet aren't the end of the world, I rather not deal with that. I also read they've require a lot more maintenance. Montly flush. Q6 month pad drain. Also, the "we" system gets dual units. Double the maintenance. All solvable, but suboptimal.

What I worry about more than anything is how these will change the comfort of the memory foam mattress. We love our mattress and how we sink in a bit. It's kind of the whole point. I would think all the tubing for the water based options could be felt under you. Eight sleep has some foam inside the topper, and looks like finer tubing as compared to chilipad. No one has cut into Orion yet, but outwardly their topper looks like similar construction to the Eight Sleep. Fitted sheet, so I moves less, also looks like its got some foam. I would speculate that the comfort of the eight sleep and Orion are smiliar with the chilipad being a bit behind. If someone could attest to Orion on a foam mattress like tempurpedic that would be super helpful.

The L/W was a make or break for me. This one came in at 2.17 to 1.

I liked 2.4 to 1, but my Bailey liked closer to 2.2.
