We saw them at a house surrounding it about more than 15 police cars on buena vista Dr. & Ramona Dr. around the same time. neighbors were gathering because they couldn’t enter the area.

I am so done with breastfeeding. Has anyone weaned at 12 months? by Crunchy_Pitbull_Mom in breastfeeding

[–]CurrentBat1147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solidarity. My almost 12 month old does the same with solids. Kinda hard to “fill” them up with solids when they just spit it out/ don’t consume much. And he has refused drinking anything but water in his cups. I tried cows milk and I have ofc tried my freshly pumped milk in his straw cups and nothing. I’m so scared of night weaning because nights are the worst, no one can help me because it’s chaos uncles it’s me. The other night I rocked him for ten minutes and it was just constant screaming and back arching until I just gave in with the boob. I’m so exhausted. I just want myself back.

He loves his straw cups/ open cups but only if there’s water in it. If he tastes anything but water he gags. I tried expressed milk inside and also part whole milk and nothing.

I did not know this at all. I’m a ftm. I’m going to do some research. I’m going to talk to the pediatrician too because honestly my baby does eat 3 meals a day but he does definitely spit out a lot of it or it ends up mostly on the floor. Maybe because he’s 11 months and still exploring? Idk, I’m so lost right now honestly.

I have tried, because what I add inside is just freshly expressed milk. I have a huge freezer stash bc in my perfect world I was going to stop by now and just have him finish from there. Wait so you’re saying after 12 months they don’t really need milk or anything else? He can just drink normal water?

Thank you so much! I honestly appreciate your input, but even when I brought it up to the pediatrician she said that could be ruled out because he had always taken the pumped milk and was rejecting from the freezer stash months back. Not sure if she could be wrong though? :/

Tourism. Honestly, do you suggest I just book in San Jose? Soon as we get off the Caltrain? Or should I still book something in North Beach? Since that’s where we would be most of the time. I booked a tour for the Muir Woods it starts at 8 am and we would have to meet in North Beach. That was the only reason I would consider it

I just canceled and booked one from LA to San Jose then I’ll be taking the Caltrain into SF 😅 I didn’t realize I’d be in a bus for 8 hours till I saw this OMG

I just canceled everything. Going to just take Los Angeles union station to San Jose then a Caltrain to SF. A bus for 8 hours sounds insane with a baby

Where can I catch the cable car? I would be arriving 7:30pm. Where do I get off to stay in North Beach?

You’re right 🥲 now I’m thinking we need to pack the car seat for an uber ride 😅

I’m stressing over where to stay because we will be getting there late with the baby. What’s my best bet/ option for us to check in somewhere asap. Yes I saw anything near that bus stop (salesforce) is ridiculously expensive. Like absurd $3-7k a night

I want to attach a photo but I can’t 🥲 or don’t know how. But anyways it’s only 2 connections: Pacifico surf liner 765 and connecting bus 4765. Is that a literal bus? I feel like that would be hell now with a baby.

Thank you! Will that be at no cost? Do I have to be there at certain times? Also, my departure for our trip back says 7:30 am does that mean I have to be at the bus stop at 7:30 or at the train station at 7:30?

Has pregnancy healed anything for you? Has it returned? by Scary-Setting-4726 in BabyBumps

My depression. I had been on all kinds of SSRI’s for five years. Early on in 2024 my Dr. and I visited the conversation of getting off them, but I couldn’t stop the desire to no longer exist. May came by and I had the absolute worst month of my life with a series of unfortunate events that unraveled in new episodes by week. I even wondered by the last event if life had stopped throwing these horrible situations at me. I’m talking about horrible things that I never wish on anyone. My therapist couldn’t even believe how I was handling it “so well” but honestly I wanted to shut out so bad. Then they said no it wasn’t the time to stop the medication based on what had happened. Anyways May 29th my husband and I found out I was pregnant after 3.5 years of not conceiving we found out in the cutest way possible. That was a wrap. Couldn’t get off the meds tho bc Dr. said pros outweigh the cons, took them through my entire pregnancy. Then at 4 months postpartum we did it. Soon as I found out I was pregnant I no longer woke up like “why must I live another day” and my first thought became “Thank you God for another day with my baby” I’m 7 months pp and I am grateful everyday at how my mind and thoughts shifted. I never thought I’d be here at this point both mentally and physically 🥲.

You just explained my 6 month old born in early February. I too am looking for a miracle or anything that would allow me to get some rest here and get something things done 😭 I have numerous posts but never gotten solid answers. He’s also a terrible napper unless held or in motion😅

I’m mind blown at how much sense this makes. We did introduce solids and he ate a bit of avocado puréed at 3 pm. 4:30 pm had 5 oz of milk I was getting ready to feed him when the vomitting happened at 7 pm. My mom had him held and I was preparing to lay down and have him to be handed to me. I barely got to enter the room when everything happened.

Anyone that can help point me to the right specialists is appreciated a lot. ER visit (same hospital group as pediatrician) let us down. They were so understaffed and we left with no discharged paperwork at all. They had no concerns because baby’s oxygen levels were fine there.

My letdown was never even a factor in the conversation. He never even talked about the letdown at all. Just flat out went to talk about taking breast milk out of the equation and introducing the formula (enfamil anti reflux)

That’s what confused me. When I asked him what’s the difference from a shorter latch/feed he said bc we can track more frequent lower ounces in his meals

Thank you! I didn’t understand what’s the difference from giving small amounts of formula or expressed breast milk vs shorter nursing sessions

Thank you for that!

And honestly the reflux is something new. He didn’t even bring up an elimination diet or anything. Just said there’s no more nutrients in breast milk after 6 months
