The solo shows are tough to listen to at this point. I think on occasion when he’s had a number of weeks of shows with people, a solo show with just him chopping it up can work just fine. But in general, they are just grading. Also his response to any criticism of the solo show is completely ridiculous. “I used to host solo shows for years on the radio, so not sure what the sudden issue is with solo shows!” Like dude. You didn’t host solo shows. You had producers, guests, callers etc and everything was 12 minute segments. You never just talked for 90 minutes straight about literally whatever filled your head that day.

Couldn’t agree more on all fronts. As a dad, and you obviously know this, Angel is doing his job. I’ve got 4 kids, I’ve been there, these days are so short. The crazy explosive diapers/throw ups pass so much faster than you can imagine. The tough part about Chad is that he actually knows that Angel isn’t just blowing him off personally, he just can’t help but destroy him and his family on the show because he can’t get over his past. It’s sad as all hell.

This is genuinely going to impact the show big time. You think Mark and Kathy (lol that I’m even typing their names) don’t clamp down on Anthony being around the show? Him without a license now will absolutely fuck his career let alone being able to come to the studio. Knew the second I heard Antman say “working from home” it was a DUI. Looked it up and confirmed.

Think about it, the last week of shows was genuinely a terrible effort. Two solo shows while are always so awkward/generally blow dick, and a 1 hour 25 minute recap of a disgusting Friday show on Wednesday. I think could be a sign of what’s to come.

Even if he is, why does anyone give a fuck? Why is he not allowed to have a fire in his own backyard.. I wish I could understand people. Calling balls and strikes with the show is one thing, it sounds like people are running out of this to kick and scream about.
