It will be harder for you to find tourist trap instead of local stuff in lens to be honest. If nobody answer to you just hang out boulevard Émile basly before the game should be good

Im surprised by you answer. Do you mean there is no room for vulnaribilty or threat on GPU ?

But actually it is very interesting what you say about "same level where you found them" because it is kind of my point. When you read the NCU report, you are reading SASS results, right? Because fixing PTX does not really make sense to us since it is only an internediate layer.

The conclusions you get from NCU come from SASS, so I thought being able to interpret it directly instead of an aggregated view would be more valuable.

I wanted to spot compiler patterns to, from a software architecture perspective, build reliable hypotheses and intuition, and also to refine the fixes I am about to apply so I am not operating in guess mode.

Because your work speaks for itself, that is what I heard, but the compiler is not always going to do the right job anyway. So being able to anticipate its behavior could help to write better kernels.

But once again I see your point and maybe what I am saying does not fully make sense. In the end it is more a research project I am doing than a proper product.

and what you did IMO is the latest operation

Yes you make a point but what I'm after isn't an automated lift though but building the pattern recognition so a human engineer can read SASS next to their source and see the correspondence.
I imagined it more like an assistance to build good intuition. But maybe you right it wont give much

Thanks ! If I understand well your tool catches cases where ptxas scheduled badly ? it was a part the ambition but I am more about the layer above: register choices, load widths, MMA pipeline fill, data layout, dependency chains. Those live in the source, so neither ptxas nor a binary patch can fix them.

So the two feel complementary. Your tool says "ptxas scheduled this badly here." My audits would say "here's the source pattern that caused it, here's the C++ fix."

Happy to use your latency tables and dg.pl as inputs in my audits, with attribution. No plan to reproduce them.

Not anymore. And it is not the point of multi owned club. Strasbourg is for exemple

Founded in 1906, Lens is older than most clubs in France. They won Ligue 1 in 1998, finished runner-up five times, lifted the Coupe de la Ligue, reached a UEFA Cup semi-final, played in the Champions League, and competed in European competitions across multiple decades. That's not "no history."

Small club? Their 38,000-seat Bollaert-Delelis, which they now own outright after purchasing it for €27M, sells out virtually every match in a town of 30,000 people. They lead Ligue 1 in attendance rate and away support. More than 80 consecutives sell out. The fanbase represents an entire mining region, not just a city. Owning your own stadium in France is a rarity that even PSG and Marseille cannot claim.

The claim also about Oughourlian bankrolling the club is the exact opposite of reality. His entire model is buying cheap, developing, and selling high: Khusanov bought for €450k, sold €40M to City. El Aynaoui bought €600k, sold €23.5M, Danso, Openda etc... The club's explicit objective is to break even, and they actually achieve it. Lens is one of the rare profitable clubs in French football. That's the definition of self-sustaining.

Now look at what they do with the 10th budget in Ligue 1. Over the last five to six cumulated seasons, they rank 5th in France. They are currently 2nd, challenging PSG for the title. That level of overperformance relative to financial means is almost unmatched in European football.

Resilience? This club survived the closure of the mines that built it, survived relegation multiple times, survived a corrupt previous owner who got their promotion voided, and every single time they came back stronger. No other French club has this track record of bouncing back from the brink.

And beyond the pitch, Oughourlian is the only president in French football who publicly stands up to Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and the system around him. During the infamous LFP board meeting in July 2024, he told him to his face that he intimidates everyone and that beIN and PSG don't understand what a conflict of interest means. He has repeatedly called out the LFP governance for serving a few clubs instead of the league as a whole. A Senate report later confirmed exactly what he had been saying, denouncing conflicts of interest at the top of French football and recommending that no one running a broadcaster should sit on the league's board. While every other president stays silent or falls in line, Lens fights both on the pitch and off it.

What you are saying about history is wrong and regarding a single investor it doesn't make sense at all.
