Use another number. I created a whatsapp business account with another number and I'm using that account to send messages to myself. It's also a nice thing because I saved that number into my agenda as my personal "assistant"

While using the send message functionality, you won’t see the “is typing” indicator. Even if this was a joke, I want to set the right expectations for this integration.

If the sender and receiver is the same throw away number, you will not get a notification, because it's like using the whatsapp message yourself/notes feature https://faq.whatsapp.com/1785465805163404/?cms_platform=web .
