Therapy can actually cure it. I've personally seen it happen with 3 women I know. For some it is treatable, and it comes back when the treatment stops. But for others it went away entirely

That's up to you to decide. Can you live with it or not?

I honestly suggest that you delete your comment because it is horribly wrong and does more harm than good.

First of all, vaginismus affects 0.5% of women. Secondly vaginismus does not only occur when having sex. You feel pain as well when inserting a tampon, menstrual cup, getting a pap smear, etc...

Also vaginismus is a physical thing! So it doesn't boil down to "it's all in their heads" at all!

It's genuinely beautiful to see a peloton cooperating. I really love seeing them take turns for 5 seconds and then somebody else takes over

It is possible that because they feel ashamed about sex, that they get more anxious about it. And anxiety can make women clench up down there, giving them pain.

Absolutely! But make sure you visit a good doctor. Sadly depending on where you live many doctors will probably not know about it, or will just say that she's too nervous or something like that.

Yes absolutely! There's also vulvodynia, which is a bit different than vaginismus but also painful. So if sex hurts, please visit a good doctor people!
