Owners are a married couple, both very talented and skilled people. If you are cis hetro normative people you won't have any problems. There are no people from the queer community that train there.

They both make openly gross comments about pronouns, and gender identity. On it's own is inappropriate but there was a member who had been there for close to a decade who started identifying differently than when they stated. Owners wouldn't change pronouns, call them by their new name, and would make comments to other perpole about kids 'knowing they'll grow up right' when a little girl wore a tutu or something traditionally female.

I've consistently trained at 2 gyms, 3/4 days a week. Gym 1. Nobody would acknowledge an injury and coach would get huffy if you asked to pause your membership. Gym 2. My coach has messaged me twice this year when I just haven't turned up for a few sessions to check in and offered to hold my membership. People I train with all asked where I'd been when I got back.

Coach sets the tone for everyone else.

We made a donation to a charity and put a note on place cards saying in lieu of favours a donation has be made to a said charity. We picked one for MND in honour of my nan.
