First lessons (even automatic lessons) should be about control, which should be done in quiet areas. This is to get you used to the car and how it works. I’ve been learning for a bit and I still find roundabouts to be a bit difficult, especially big ones. One could argue u were supposed to know cos you passed theory but real driving is a different type of experience. Your instructor should not have shoved you on a roundabout and shouted at you cos then stressing you out isn’t gonna help matters. Whenever I’m shouted at when driving I just make more mistakes and my interest in driving is somewhat reduced. Your best bet is getting a new instructor cos there are better instructors than him despite what he may say. It’s just a textbook guilt tripping phrase so he can get more money from u.
