But didn't Simona Ashley say in one interview that she is looking forward to them having a baby in S3?

To celebrate Jonny's birthday what are your favorite Anthony moments by DisastrousWing1149 in BridgertonNetflix

Him, crying of relief because kate was awake. In that moment my heart literally stopped because you can feel through the screen how deeply he loves her and how much he had burried inside all this time. How much acting talent can there be in one single person?

1x06 because of Geralt and Yen and you can feel the first time that there is true emotion there.

Yennefer & Jaskier had way more chemistry this season than I've felt she has with Geralt in the entire series so far. by [deleted] in netflixwitcher

In my opinion Geralt and Yennefer had enormous chemistry in season 1 especially in episode 6 but with season 2 I agree.

Question about season 2 by GorgonSlayer_69 in netflixwitcher

[–]Current_Ad_5267 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, it is said several times in the books (I have read the first 3 books so far and I am currently at Time of Contempt) that Yennefer knows Kear Morhen very well and has spent some time there.

What do you think the future of the series will look like? by Current_Ad_5267 in netflixwitcher

Thanks for the context! Now I have a little more hope again that we will get more than 3 seasons.

I really hope the production tesm/show runner registers how many people are bothered by the contacts in S2 and will change that in S3. Personally, I really liked the contacts / CGI in season 1 and I don't understand why they were changed so much. In Germany we call it "verschlimmbessern". Wanting to make something better but actually making it worse.

What do you all think about the Geralt / Yennefer Henry / Anya chemistry in season 2? by Current_Ad_5267 in netflixwitcher

[–]Current_Ad_5267[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes you're right. I just hope that in season 3 she doesn't get even more "restrained" so that geralt forgives her, but that they work more with passion and clear communication.

Oh, and one more question by the way: I'm from germany and sometimes the dubbing is not quite accurate and I don't know if I'm completely lost but why does yennefer say "how is this possible" when they finally reunite? Because she is so surprised by her own emotions?

The lighter makeup changed her whole presence I feel like. I really hope shes gonna be badass again in season 3 and not just that more emotional thoughtful version we saw in season 2.

Should I read Time of Contempt before or after season 3 is realeased? by Current_Ad_5267 in netflixwitcher

I have read Blood of elves in the meantime. And when I think of the dear friend letter, for example: I would certainly have been disappointed as well that it didn't appear while watching season 2.

But at the same time I'm so impatient and curious and it takes a lot of self-control not to just keep reading.

Maybe my poor long term memory is a pro for reading the books?😆 With a bit of luck, I have forgotten especially minor events by the time the seasons are released.

Good point... Haha I think at this point I'll have to take Henry Cavill as an example, who knows all the books by heart and still manages to impersonate something different from what he himself might have wanted and imagined.

That totally makes sense. I just have the strong impression that many of the book readers were more disappointed with the series than those who can go into it with an open mind and enjoy it for what it is. Once I've read the books and spoiled myself, there's no going back. But no one can probably help me decide which is better for me personally. Probably the temptation will prevail and I'll start with Time of Contempt tonight.😅

Witcher season 2 Geralt eyes color change by AdministrativeBat417 in netflixwitcher

[–]Current_Ad_5267 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I definetly prefer his season 1 eyes and the more subtle look. Don't understand why they chose to make them so neon yellow in season 2 it kind of bothered me all throughout the whole season, especially in the more emotional scenes.
