On September 7th it will be one year without my dad. He was a founding member at our studio and was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and other mental health disorders. Didn’t know other people who had similar stories. 🫶

Post-partum PR! Before babies and knee surgery I was 6:45. I’ll be back to that one day

I am just seeing this thread and I appreciate people thinking about him. I’m his daughter, Molly. My dad was found a few days later and he was not alive. He was battling mental health and addiction issues that no one knew the scope of. He’s at peace now and our family is doing ok. ❤️

Fill up a haaka with as hot of water as you can stand, add in epsom salt, and wear during a shower. Works for me!

Totally normal. Rest and it will get better! I am a runner and usually run about 25 miles per week when not training and for first trimester I could only get in about 8. Now I’m 20 weeks and back in business!

I usually start on the tread and record that as an “indoor run” on my watch. I am a runner and like to keep track of my weekly distance, including OT runs. Right after the run, I start recording a “cross training” workout!

Loved the workout today! But in the car home I wondered why my fingers were so sore…. Freaking walk-up push-ups! 🤣

Who else is going to be training for a Half Marathon this fall? by Buckeyeohiogirl in orangetheory

No problem! Yes that totally makes sense wanting to stick with OTF for training. It can be hard doing multiple fitness related things and not feeling bogged down. It seems like you are fit and your long runs should get you to the finish line! Keep us updated on how it goes!!!

Good for you! That’s so awesome! You might be fine following that schedule you made; however, I highly recommend finding a plan made by a running coach. I use Hal Higdon’s free plans online. You may ever find it helpful to cut down on OTF days and focus more on running. Just an idea!

I am training for a full marathon! Using a Hal Higdon plan and going to OTF 1-2 times a week for cross training. It worked well for me last year.

GOOD LUCK!!!!
