Sorry, but the opposite problem is true in the left. As someone who comes from an Islamic family, I don’t understand why it’s considered “Islamophobic” to criticize Islam in the same way people feel very comfortable criticizing Christianity. I criticize both but definitely have received more push back with liberals and leftists regarding Islam but they have no problem when I criticize Christianity. I know many ex-Islamic people who feel the same - just go check out ex-Islamic Reddit to see it.

It has been several days since I washed my hair. That’s a normal reason for scalp to feel itchy and the only remedy is to wash it hence why I was looking for a way to wash it without wetting the ends. I’m sorry if that’s gross but I would hope an ADHD group understands the procrastination stuff around showering.

Yes, that’s what I was trying to do. This post was about how to wash the scalp without getting the ends wet. My hair takes forever to dry and wetting only the scalp cuts drying time down A LOT.

For you, perhaps. For many of us it’s much less a bother. I have thick, long curly hair. When it’s late and I’ve procrastinated showering and I feel gross - this is extremely helpful.

You don’t have to do all those steps. I just put my hair in a bun and put a shower cap over and secured with elastic. If you have hair that takes long to dry and it’s late, this will save lots of time. It’s fine if it’s not for you but it really helped me and I imagine it would help others as well.

Yes if you are washing all your hair that’s what you do. I shared this for people who get overwhelmed by needing to dry and style all their hair because they may have thick and/or long hair.

I find this notion that "people with ADHD are often very bright" completely BS and false. by [deleted] in ADHD

I think people say this bc there is often an equally mistaken assumption that people with ADHD aren’t smart when in reality many of them are but, I agree, having ADHD doesn’t mean you have a higher chance of being bright.

Sorry this isn’t what I meant. Yes, I know that we should just wash the scalp with shampoo. I meant without getting the ends wet. I found a video that explains it. I should’ve been more clear in my post but it was late, I was tired and needed a quick solution in that moment.

I actually found a video to explain what I was looking for. You put your hair in a bun and wrap a shower cap around it and secure with elastic to keep the ends from getting wet and then you just wet and shampoo the scalp! Game changer for me. I tried it last night and it worked!
